We bought Sony Bravia in order to save energy to serve as PC monitor at the same time TV. Lately I encountered blinking screen while I am using PC as my big screen and small screen is TV. I noticed when I unplugged one unit from main outlet the monitor is blinked. But even I don't unplugged its still blinking. I am worried that this Sony Bravia might be damaged if this blinking will continue. Is there a settings should I change?

That seems to be a hardware problem. If the power required to drive two monitors is not enough this may happen. However please call in a service engineer to rectify. Remote diagnosis is not accurate.

Just like this very moment. I don't encounter blinking screen. Its when I only unplugged new appliances the blinking appears.

syoti you need to check your warranty on the Bravia and then call the place where you bought it as they should have Sony techs there to help new users as it is probably something simple if you know how to set it of fix it but if you do not know you need a skilled technician as thats what they are there for.good luck and God bless.

It is best to consult this proble with the proper Sony technicians so they can fully explain this to you. We can only speculate what the problem you have but can never make a concrete soltution to it since we are not Sony technician experts here.

I don't know about any settings. I would call Sony or visit their web page to try to find something out though.

I am sorry but like the above poster I am not aware of what the problem could be so if you still have warranty I would call and get some tech support. Try and do so right away as sometimes they do limit the time period. So sorry I could not be of more hope with this issue.
