Snow/ice storms and no school

Today the kids had the day off from school...we got about an inch maybe an inch and a half. It stopped all the snow and things about 7 pm...no school tomorrow as well. Wow, this is starting early for us this year...last year the snow really didnt start til later Jan. Anyone else getting a lot of snow? Has your kids missed school because of it?

It was snowing hard yesterday however today sunlight floods the earth.We feel more cold because the snow is beginning to thaw.

i have no kid.. but I enjoy suspension of classes more often..
