this situation is common, we are travelling on the road and despite for no reason a lunatic driver keeps honking for no reason. Just remember the last time your car broke down in traffic and remember the wailing horns, its terrible. These lunatic drivers think they can make a difference by honking, at one such incident a cab driver kept honking when the light was red and an enraged senior citizen got out of his car and asked the cab driver to drive through red signal. How awesome But something should be done about these irrational drivers

Hello.... It's normal to get angry at pathetic and annoying honkers, as if by keep on honking they can make the traffic go... specially when you're already tired and hat you want to do is go home peacefully and take a rest then suddenly beside or behind you keep on honking, that was so irritating. Sometimes I said " why don't you build your own flyover and use that alone".

This is quite common in bangalore . Some people feel that by continuosly honking you can make your way through standstill traffic . I dont know how ... In most cases , people start honking just about when a traffic signal turns green from red . This is just to wake up those at the front line of the long queue . They sometime fall asleep in the long wait for 3 minutes at signal .

That's California right now, especially in the holiday season. There a lot of people honking horns and there is a lot of road rage. You can't imagine how many accidents I have seen on the freeway in the last week. It's nuts!

I get frustrated, not just angry. Very often, I find that they are used wrongly. For example, a one lane road of one direction is packed with cars and very often, the car that is at the end of the pack keeps honking as if they can make the queue goes away which actually they can't and everyone from the drivers to the pedestrians are plagued with that honking. But imagine if you saw a driver driving a car but he is asleep or driving dangerously. The only thing that is possible to do is to wake/warn him up by honking. The fact is we can't do without it but yet it is being used for wrong reasons.

There are a lot of drivers who honk a lot while trapped in a big traffic where every cars move very slow due to the heavy traffic. This usually happens in a big city in my country. Sometimes I wonder, if they knew that they will be a heavy traffic then why did they bother to get a car if they cannot be patient? They could just use the public transportation like the underground train or buses then that also would lessen the amount of cars on the road in the country.

This honkers are really annoying. They honk continuously, destroying the peace in the road. They should wait when there is traffic. These drivers should be reprimanded for there impatience.

Honking from drivers without reason can be found to be very annoyong. Honking from drivers should have a purpose. Drivers need to learn that a horn is not a toy or a weapon.

Personally, I don't like loud or shrill sounds. But I also admit the road is filled with stupid people and you need to honk to avoid accidents. Not all citizens appreciate traffic rules. Their disobedience to the law is sickening. In rush hour everyone is in hurry. Here in India hundreds of thousands of cars are out on the street and they want to overtake each other just for fun. It seems that if you want to win the competition you not only have to overtake your colleague but also your fellow office-goer. Everybody is impatient and wants to reach his destination in little or no time. Honking is just the expression of their disgust and insensibility to the system. The more irritated they feel the louder they honk. I get angry at those honkers sometimes, but then I realize how pathetic life they are living. So on second thought I feel pity for them.

It is annoying and irritating as so many are so impatient. I mean there are many times the red light instantly turns green and other cars immediately honk. Ugh..
