Has Rafa Benitez gone crazy?

Rafa is making some real crazy statements!! After winning the Club World Cup, he makes a statement that either Inter give him money in the transfer marker or sack him!! If I own a club and my manager makes such crazy statement, I would rather fire him and find some one more responsible for my club!! What do you make of his outburst? Cheers! Ram

What Rafa said has some elements of truth in it. Every manager will need the support of the owners and this support includes the financial as well. Without the money, there is no way he can build a team which he feels can play the way he wanted.

But he has just taken over a team that is a real strong one. His team is currently lying 7th in the league after winning everything under the sky with Mourinho. Cheers! Ram

True, Rafa has inherited the same team that won almost everything during Mourinho's time. But there is a slight different and it is the that Inter has now been hit with a mini injury crisis.

Yes , I don't know why Rafa is saying that . HE already has a strong team which has won various trophies last season . May be Rafa has some specific players in ming for which he is demanding funds . He should have not made such statements in my point of view . It could have decreased his respect among the club members and fans !

It is one thing discussing his needs in the board room and another airing it in public like that. That too me was real stupid. Cheers! Ram

This is a normal thing. A manager has to ask for the players he wants in order to make a good job. But these things should remain behind closed doors and it shouldn't reach the public ears. Otherwise, he has right, because players which are bought by him listen better to his tactics and he has more authority in front of them.

You do not see an Arsene Wenger or Sir Alex or Ancellotti or even David Moyes come out and ask for it in public!! Rafa has been doing this for quite some time from his Liverpool days so it is getting tiresome now. Cheers! Ram

As for me, maybe he has reason for doing that...He does not get enough funds back in Liverpool due to the instability in the club itself, so I think he maybe just wanted that situation does not happen to him again...Me myself is not a Liverpool fan, but I am saying this based on what I thought happened...Have a good day! ^__^

I would rather say that he has become this whinging manager who seems to cry at everything. Come on if you want to be a manager at one of the big clubs, stop whinging and start doing things right!! His rotation policy cost Liverpool more titles than transfer money issues!! Cheers! Ram
