How is the weather? How is it affecting your preparations for Christmas/ plans?

Well, we've got a whole load of rain, the Pineapple Express is pouring
on us as I write this here in California...
I am wondering how the weather is in your area and how you are faring.
Also how is it impacting your Christmas shopping and plans for Christmas celebrations?
This is your place to complain or rejoice as the case may be.

Our weather is totally boring. We have had no rain or snow for weeks and weeks. They're predicting a 30% chance of snow tomorrow, at least one forecaster is, and another one says possible snow on Wednesday. Either way, (IF it snows at all) it shouldn't affect our Christmas plans.

Where are you located?
I am now feeling a little envy about your boring weather...
The rain has been so bad here that one person in my area who is going to be getting a used car as a gift from her parents for Christmas called up her mother and father and told them, "I've changed my mind. I don't want a new car any longer."
Her mother said, "Why not? You need one out there in California.
My friend told her mother, "I have decided that I need an Ark!" :)

poruiing rain here to on this side of the mountains have flash flood warings out .
got all my shopping done just really need to get to post office tomail some things they will be late but its not all Christmas things.
Just hope it is all gone by Sat.
FOr I plan on smoking my turkey amd shoulders dont need rain that day!
