There are people who are really obsessed with thinness and would aspire to be like celebrities and models who have bodies that are sometimes ultra thin. Thin maybe in nowadays and media even celebrates a thin body, so as the fashion world. But are thin people really getting the right diet, the right amount of calories they need each day? Are they really fit and living healthy?

This is wrong. Actually being so thin and fat are both unhealthy. And I can't see someone who is beautiful if she is skinny. Whereas she will look like a skull only. Thin people will have some problems such as their period won't come since they are so thin. And they are short in some minor elements because they don't eat properly. I don't suggest to it. Being natural is the best. I love China

I don't think it is healthy. In my case, everytime I get thinner, that means I am not getting helthier. My being thin may be caused by lack of sleep, stress, loss of appetite or simply being sick.

Hi, Earlier people would take only those people healthy who looked fat and those thin were termed as unhealthy but now the concept has changed. Only the thins are healthy??? I am not sure how far they are healthy. A healthy body is one that is minus illness and weakness regardless to their being thin or a little more flesh. But I too feel that those trying to become ultra thin are not so healthy if they are put to test.

I don't think they are, unless they were born with that or their genes are there. It is in this status that the healthy living is compromised. It shouldn't be celebrated, what's important is that one adheres to a healthy diet, healthy living and healthy mindset.

Not really. Not all thin people are healthy just as not all chubby/big people are healthy. Neither of them can be healthy unless their height is in at least almost equal proportion to their weight. This is why when a doctor checks us up, he/she will have to check for our BMI or Body Mass Index which determines if we are healthy, underweight, overweight or obese. As for your question, are thin people really getting the right diet and amount of calories they need each day, well it depends on what's on their plates every meal time. I've known some thin people who eat junkfood, fastfood at meal times while some eat healthier foods like fruits and veggies. One can really never tell unless the doctor assesses that person's health.
