CD/DVD burner software that can play on any type of player

Hi guys! I just want to ask if any of you know a software, particularly a CD/DVD burner, that will enable the CD or DVD to play on any kind of player - whether mp3 player, stereo, etc. I currently use Nero but it's just the free one as I cannot afford to purchase any online. Would love it if it's a free downloadable software. Thanks for all the help in advance! :) Happy Christmas to everyone!
