Is that confirmed news? I think there is some allegations and news going back and forth from both parties. Today Rafa's agent has come out saying that he is talking with Inter on Rafa's exit. Moratti has come out with a statement that the situation is a mess and nothing is yet finalized!! I think Rafa needs to be fired for making some real stupid statements. Cheers! Ram

It is NOT confirmed yet. But I agree with you, ram_cv. I think Rafa has no place in high class teams. He has this propensity to make careless and daring statements! That, he is good at. He doesn't seem focused on priorities of a team or club. I think he took tolerance for granted when Liverpool kept him for a very long time even with terribly poor results. Inter must not waste any more time!

Exactly. And I do not think daring is the right word either, I call it stupid :) Cheers! Ram

I not too agree. Benitez has given Inter Milan World Cup Club Championship Winners. I think they should give the chance. But the fact is not. Benitez is replaced by Leonardo.

The latest I heard is that, yes Benitez and Inter have parted company. While I think he should be given more time to prove his worth, his latest outburst after the winning the World Club Cup is the last straw. I think it is best that both part company now.

I don't want Benitez to be fired, because as Inter now plays, Bayern has very good chances to knock Inter out from the Champions League. I just hope that even if he will be sacked, Inter will not recover. We need to revenge the last year final.

Nowadays football is like that, a couple of bad results and questions got asked. In addition, Benitez did those poorly chosen statements so I believe Moratti decision of sack Benitez was the right one. However I would have waited until the transfer window opens so to give Benitez the chance to buy the players he wants and see if the situation reverses.

It is not confirmed yet. I have read two conflicting news. One news said that Inter has sacked Benitez, the other news said otherwise, saying that Moratti has supported Benitez 100%. Until it is announced via their website, it is just a rumour only....
