1. wear a shawl to keep your throat warm from outside.
2. take a spoon of honey every day (honey works like a natural antibiotic and it calms a bit your sore throat).
3. crude garlic works also as a natural antibiotic and builts up your immunity system.
4. eucalyptus and menthol candys are very good for the throat.
5. put 30 drops of eucalyptus mixed in a bit of milk in hot water and take a bath during thirty minutes. After drying up, take a sleep during one or two hours and try to sweat. Avoid cold wind and airconditioning.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you are feeling well this time. You have to visit the doctor if you think the pain is getting worst. Try to gargle a glass of warm water with a tablespoon of salt. To prevent it you should lessen eating sweets, if you do eat sweat try to drink lots of water afterwards.

Dear asliah,
I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. Tonsillitis means acute inflammation of the tonsils, due to some infections. Tonsils are the oval shaped tissue mass which is present on each side of the throat.
I will mention some home remedies for tonsillitis
1)A glass of pure boiled milk ,mixed with pinch of turmeric powder and pepper powder should be taken every night for 3 nights.
2)A gargle made from salt water twice a day.
3)Avoid spice and condiments.
4)avoid drinking carbonated drinks.
5)If it is not helpful you can very well go for antibiotics.
