How to promote articles at Triond?

I was wondering if this could do any good to our earnings. I don't know if this would give results, but I keep thinking about ways of promoting articles on Triond.
Can you tell me some ideas? Or do you think this could be a good way to generate earnings there?

I have joined Triond and I posted 5 articles out there and I don't like the site at all. If you area unable to promote your articles in the site then It would be very tough for you to earn in the site.
YOu can promote your articles on sites like Facebook,Orkut,Twitter, Blogs and various other places where people can view your stuff. Just show your articles to many people and you will earn a lot of money from the site.

I forget to say that I wanted to talk about article trading. I was not paying attention and I forgot to mention this. So what do you think? Could this be a solution?
Let me explain it a bit: I view your articles, you view mines and if we gather many trionders who would do the same and this every day, then I think we could have many article views per month.

@rappeter13, this is already being done by so many of us. If you go to the forum up there. Not the silly rude one but the one that says introduce yourself. You go ahead and add each one of the members.
We all view one anothers articles once a day, which counts towards earnings as we do for all and all do for us.

I've joined Triond way back (I can't even remember when) but have only been submitting articles there in December. My first article was published on the 4th of December.
So as of today, I've just been writing at Triond for just a little over three weeks. I've written so far 40 articles and accummulated 1,330 views and earning 8 cents short of $1.
I'm lazy in promoting my articles. I love to write though and I thought that spending time promoting my articles take away the time I could spend writing articles. So I seldom do much promotion.
I'm also very shy so I don't do any social networking except on myLot. Believe it or not, I don't even have a Facebook account but one of my articles is shared on Facebook with 148 people.
So I rely a lot on traffic from search engines. Before I joined Triond, I wrote mainly for Bukisa when they still had the Bukisa index. I had to get a lot of traffic to my Bukisa articles if I want to earn there. So I learn about keyword research and search engine optimization. That is why when I started writing for Triond, I'm already armed with the knowledge of SEO techniques.
I've written several articles at Triond about search engine optimization. If you want to ultimately be earning passive income, learn SEO techniques. That is the best way to earn at any writing sites.

I myself wrote an article about some easy ways to getting a free Starbucks gift card so the way I promote the article is every now and then I post a link on the Facebook groups for Starbucks or fan clubs etc and discuss the article with the users there.
