May I know what things you ask when you praying to God?

Hi Zhizho. Yes, prayer should be a habit. In fact, one theologian named Evans said prayer should be like breathing. The Word of God tells us to pray without stopping. Prayer is two ways. Yes, we speak (vocally or in our heart) but we must also listen to what God says. It's having a conversation with Him. It is best to be directed by God's Holy Spirit in prayer. He often will direct us what to ask for. The best things to ask for are those things we know what God wants. We find out what those things are in His Word. To answer the title of your post, I ask many things. This is not selfish. We are told in God's Word to ask. I do not ask all the same things every day. But here are some usual things: The salvation of my oldest son and his wife. The release, rescue, or escape of Bowe Bergdahl (US soldier held by the Taliban) Healing for different needs in my body (I was not continuously asking for this until I heard God say to me I should ask, --"You have not because you ask not." Relief and protection from Christians in those nations where they are heavily persecuted-- and I pray for each nation separately. Some of those nations are China, Iraq, Iran, India, Pakistan, Eritrea, Israel, Egypt, Somalia, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Kenya, w. African nations. I also ask the Gospel spread in those and other countries. In the mornings I ask God to direct my steps throughout the day.

People do pray and what they pray is very personal.Even in certain you can not ask the person about his/her prayer. I do not so much into this prayer business. and if sometime I pray I pray for others and not for me. Would not it be selfishness that you pray to God that you get benefit? why not others? When you see other happy and prospering you automatically feel good and that is the motto of our prayer.

I always start my prayers by thanking the Lord for my day. Whether good and or bad I thank God for allowing me the life to be able to experience them. I then move on to praying for the special people in my life, that if good health is required and or any forms of issues be helped for them. Often times I say to God that if any good will is to be granted to me that it be applied to all those less fortunate as I find that I am truly blessed by being able to enjoy life with my children. Lastly I include peace, health and comfort to all in the world. This I do religiously every single night. Many blessings to you and all your loved ones.

I know God will scold me for forgetting him sometimes - what i mean here is that I forgot to pray before I sleep. But Honestly though I forget to pray, I could feel that he is residing in my heart. coz i felt that my heart is talking and my mind too. Honestly, when I pray, I used to cry. . I don't know why . . I am always asking him the impossible thing . . he can't grant it coz as they say, its the payment of our sins. I always asked that my family will be with me forever . . no one must leave . . we will be happy together . . and forever till eternity . . thats what i always asked. But next to that impossible . . if he asked for another thing . . aside from it, I asked for health, health can possibly lead us to eternal life with a very happy ending . .

When I'm praying to God, first I always start with Thanking him for all the blessings, the life and the good health that he has given me on this day. Then next is to ask God to govern me through all the day's work for tomorrow. To not lead me to evil. For my love one's to be always safe and far from harm. For them to have good health always. For God to be the center of my life every single day.

There are many kinds of prayer. The Religious pray for blessings to be given. Spiritualists Thank God in Prayer for blessings received,and for Blessings to be received in the future. Its important to remember when we pray; "God helps those who help themselves."

I pray as often as possible.. i thank Him, ask for forgiveness, ask for blessings, ask all things in the name of Jesus. God always provides!

I'll pray for the well-being of my family and my school results. I don't actually pray for any material wants, just the health. My school results matter most

i used to ask for this and that now i only thank, i think i was wrong in asking cause God might give me energy and power to do stuff, but it's up to me to do it from time to time i ask for courage, strenght or energy but nothing more but i thanks Him a lot

I pray for the best of me. I pray for God to make Him be OK with my life. It means that God give me a mercy. I do believe that He will bless our life. Also I pray for my late mother. I pray for the better future. For almost all the things I pray to God. God is reliable, while man is never. So, I never boot-lick to man. God is the reason of why we are here now.

I pray for all of my family members. I am not that sort of persons who remember God when caught in trouble. God will help you if you really trust him . I will pray for my family members every day. I hope they can be healthy.

well, everyday I pray to God for my family, that are my mother, my father, brothers and sisters. I also pray for my friend and his family. sometimes i pray for campus meeting in my school. i feel like pray is i'm telling God whatever I want to tell Him so that He knows my conditions, my feelings, and everyone I love. may God give blessings.
