This post is for the holidays. I'm usually lazy sharing the best tricks there is on free browsing online and the like but this time i'll share it to all of you. Just treat this as a gift if you happen to make use of this. This is a trick on how to browse for free using your Java enabled phone and a fantastic phone browser called Opera Mini. First things first, you have to setup your phone for free browsing. Create a new Access Point profile. Name: Opera Access Point Name or APN: http.globe.com.ph Enable Proxy IP and input any of the following: 80.239.242.113 80.239.242.49 82.145.209.253 64.255.180.113 64.255.164.17 In the Port input, type in 80. Leave everything else as is. After setting up your phone, it's time to setup your browser for free browsing. Download Opera Mini 4.2 here: http://d.peperonity.info/c/d/13F75F/447577/ssc3/home/041/funsurf/albums/opmin42handlerui110.jar It's a specially modified version geared towards browsing the net for free. It has extra settings upon startup that you'll need to modify in order to browse for free. Let's see what settings they are. Go ahead and install the application on your phone. After installing it, launch it. You'll see the following settings. Just type in what i've indicated below. Custom HTTP: Twitter.globe.com.ph Custom Socket: server4.operamini.com:80 Front Query: twitter.globe.com.ph@ Middle Query: (leave empty) Back Query: (leave empty) Remove String from URL: (leave empty) Leave the checkbox unchecked. These settings should be enough for you to browse for free. Now you can browse for free and earn money at the same time. For questions and suggestions, feel free to leave a response. This same trick can be seen on my website so it's your choice if you wanna get updated on the latest tricks available, just visit my website indicated on my profile.

So if I have ATT phone service, with no internet service, this would work??? I just had to cut off our internet access on our cell phones as our bill was way too high. As it is it is still $248.00 per month for 5 lines with unlimited text messaging. Of course we are locked into a contract, so I can't change providers. Please let me know if this will for for ATT phones, as I might have to try it. Thanks.

Oh man, i don't know if it will. This trick here is only good for Globe Subscribers. Thing is i hang out often in some sort of hackers guild forum exclusive for Filipinos and all the tricks there are good for service providers here only. Although, i'll get back to you on this. Maybe i'll just send you a pm. I'll ask for at&t tricks, maybe they know some.

Almost every phone. The most low memory phone i've tried installing Opera Mini into is Nokia 2630. If your phone handles higher memory usage than that then i bet it's compatible with Opera Mini 4.2.

Do you also have an idea if there is also free browsing for sun cellular networks? I have tried it before but i think it doesn't work now. I have been searching the net for quite some time about it but i cant just seem to find it anywhere.

I used to connect using Sun Cellular's socket connection but right now it seems they've patched them up good. I'm still searching for some ways on how to do it as well but for now if you wanna browse for free Globe Telecom is your best bet.
