Here are my recommendations for a laptop: LCD Display size - normally 15" screen is good, if you need larger you can get it. Just remember that size of screen has big impact on weight of laptop. Memory - at least 2 GB of ram, more if you want Hard Drive - at least 320 G, but you might want to go larger. Storage is relatively cheap at this time. As you think about the drive storage, also give some thought as to how you will back it up. The larger the amount of storage on you laptop, quite possibly the larger backup option needed. A case of design and size that you like. Other things, most of which will be standard: CD/DVD read and write Four USB 2 ports Wireless capability Desired features in terms of mouse pad, mouse stick, mouse buttons and touch pad. All of these take some getting used to. Windows 7 and any other software you can get thrown in the deal. Hope this helps

When you want to buy a laptop, of course there are many things to think about to be taken into consideration you do not see its brands such as Acer or Toshiba, Every laptop any brand is the same strong and obstinate that famous often damaged and there is also love of all problems, but all decision must be viewed from your needs to what use it with your goal to have a laptop with the highest specifications and prices are special and to know the full information on AMJ Gadgets.com or gadgets info.

Hi , you cannot think to keep a laptop for a 5 year and i tell you how to plan when you buy a laptop. Everyday there is a upcoming new technology. so, you cannot think keep the same model for 5 years.. if you want to keep then you should go for new technology which are in market now and will cost you more.. if u wish to go to new technolgy then buy laptops with i3,i5 or i7 processors. it also depends on what and how you will use you laptop. if you are a techie or a guy always trying or installing new things then go for new technology and better system with more hardisk space. if it is for home usage like less applications then you can go for less configurations. I would suggest IBM or DEll if you are a techie and HP or Sony for home usage.

If you are thinking about buying a new laptop then there are certain questions that you need to ask yourself. Firstly, how will you be using your computer? Will you only be using it for basic purposes like surfing the net and replying to emails? Or, do you have a strong interest in gaming online? I don't know if everyone would agree but in terms of make of computer I have always favoured Dell above all else. I personally have never had any problems with this company. For computer configuration you should go for something that's quite powerful although not at the top end of the spectrum unless you are into gaming. The reason for this is you want to be able to upgrade this computer in the future. I think that a 500 Gigabyte Hard drive is more than enough in terms of space. Your memory is very important and you should think carefully about this. I have 4 gigabytes of ram now and I upgraded my system from 2 gigabytes and it generally performs better in terms of speed. You also need to take into account the video card capabilities and consider how important the graphics on screen is to you. As I mentioned, if you are seriously into gaming then you need a powerful video card. On a laptop this will be built in but this will increase the cost of the laptop significantly. The other important thing to take into account is your CPU or processor. I don't think anyone goes for a single processor anymore! The majority of computers tend to be dual core now, that's two processors within a single housing unit. I have dual core myself. If you are into gaming then you will probably go for something like a quad core, that's four processors within the same housing unit but this will be very expensive for you as well as giving you all the computer power you need! I think those are the main things to think about. Make sure when you purchase your laptop that it comes with a warranty and when this warranty expires renew it. By doing this you won't have to pay anything when it comes to repairs and upgrades. Laptops are limited when it comes to upgrading them. You can probably purchase a higher capacity hard drive in future and obviously upgrade the memory. Anyway, good luck. Andrew
