My huband, myself and our 4 children came up to New hampshire for Christmas. We drove 4 1/2 hours, about 260 miles or so. We came up Christmas day around 4pm. We were supposed to leave Sunday mid afternoon. That's not happening because back home their getting a blizzard and up to 2 feet of snow. It's now snowing here and supposed to get a foot of snow. I was really looking forward to getting back home and getting back into our regular routines again. This trip is really taking a toll on my youngest who is only a year and a half. She's stuck on everyday routine and it messes with her. She doesnt mind the long car ride for the most part but after about 3 hours is when it starts getting hard for her. My three oldest children, I'd have to say after an hour on the road I already hear them complaining that they are bored, their butts hurt, are we there yet, or the all famous I have to go potty! It's been a very enjoyable trip to say the most. We have caught up with alot of friends whom we havent seen in nearly 6 months. It's great to be back up here. Did anybody else travel for the Holiday or did you let friends and family come to your place? If you traveled how did your children take it? Did they have fun?

It looks like you really had a white Christmas. The holidays shouls be filled wwith good memories of family and friends. You may nit have asked to be snowed for Christmas, but i hope you made the most of it.

It is good to see your post, to know you and your family have a good time.Children like fun.And most time they like traveling,if only it is not very dull and tiring. My son likes going out too. Of coures the most enjoyment for him is to got lots of playmates. Well, because we chinese tend to have very few children in one family. So the children often feel lonely at home. SO when they got to a gettogether or something like that, they will be very excited. I think the most part of joy of holiday lies in the meeting of friends and relatives.I wish you a happy new year!
