Well, despite the freezing weather conditions, I made it to and back from my daughter's house for Christmas - so a belated Happy Christmas to you all!!
But I have brought back with me proof that there is a Santa!!
So all you non believers look at the enclosed photo!!
We went to visit my eldest daughter on Christmas Eve, as her two youngest children had been ill and not been able to go and visit Santa in a grotto, my husband decided to give Santa a helping hand to go and visit them with a small gift!!
You may just be able to make out my daughter retraining herself (just!!) from laughing in the background!!
Did Santa make a personal visit to any of your homes this year?

I have had to cancel most of my DD as a result. Last month another company called for a payment a day before they said they would- to the same effect (they were just within their terms), so our January is now blown out of the window. Oh- new job starts 29/12, and the pay is better than expected.

My husband has a Santa suit and he used to visit a few of the younger relatives around Christmas.
Once the young kids get older and have a hard time not telling the younger ones that the guy in the red suit is Uncle ___, we decided that it was time to stop. LOL
Great impression of Santa. Good job.

Is it just for fun fairy tale make believe? Guess that is okay, but don't like lying to people about such things and well what gets me is what they hey does this dude have to do with Christ and his birth which by the way is another lie told to people. Well I do not believe in the fat man in a red suit climbing down my chiminy. And yup I do got a chiminey and burn firewood. He would get his behind burned if he tried. Not a good idea around here. We do not celebrate these very pagan holidays

No...Santa didn't make an appearance at our house, but did for several years in the past. I have to say I feel a bit sad that the kids are older now and of course no one believes in Santa. I was at the mall right before Christmas and I saw all the little kids waiting in line to see Santa and I sat there remembering all the years I took the kids to see Santa and I felt bad that they are all grown up now.

There is nothing like that look on the kiddies faces is there!!
Mind you my 14 year old son brought tears to my eyes this Christmas.
He wanted money this year as he is saving up for an iPad. So I was just buying him 'little' gifts to open.
However I did buy him the new Kinect for his X Box that he knew NOTHING about and the look on his face when he opened it and the sincere gratitude he showed did bring tears to my eyes!!

Hello, Oldchem. Merry Christmas!.;)
Well, as a child I often wonder if there's really indeed a Santa. So, I tried to peek and cheat a little, trying to find out who was putting those things inside my christmas sack. And yes, I saw Santa doing it.LOL
However, my Santa Claus doesn't look like the one with long white beard and big love bags. He is a little chubby and only wears shorts and t shirts while putting his gifts in my sack. He was even laughing and smiling while doing it. :)
Every kids should believe that there is Santa Claus. But shouldn't really focus on the long white bearded fellow. He could look like a skinny good old fellow for all we know.:)

Oh yes this was this guy who went around the subdivision giving out gifts to the homeowners. You know what? This guy is running for the post of village president this January.

Santa did not visit me personally, but left surprises in lots of locations. I am glad you were able to safely travel. I see that here in the States some are having real difficulties, but in Kansas, we have no precipitation, no snow or rain or anything.

They still have those gorgeous Santa grottos over there? here I have never ever seen one and I still have vivid memories of them when I was a child. the awe and expectation of sitting on Santa's lap!
I have no chimney here so he missed delivering personally but he did leave a gift at my son's house for me which I picked up on the day
Good to see that you got there and back safe and sound and Happy New Year!

Hiya chem,
No Santa here this Year at least not in this Area. The Three Kings are the Famous ones for bring toys here. They come on the 6th of January every year from Orient Far. Bearing Gifts for all the kiddies here in Spain as it is their Day for that kind of thing.
Santa is so busy he is run off his toes in other parts of the World. Love the Photo chem. I did try a first post and it has vanished again.
Nice to see that you had a good Christmas then. Hugs. xxx

It is okay, I don't have to believe in Santa Clause at all. I just want my wish come true though. I didn't believe in Santa Clause all along, and it was just a fairy tale to make kids happy. I am okay with everything. Merry Christmas to you too.
