whats your 2011 new years resolutions? And from your resolutions which will you surely achieve and or may get a little sloppy to keep? my resolutions are to enhance my cooking skills, stay focused in school, try to control my temper a bit and be a more organized. I know I will enhance my cooking skills because I enjoy cooking and one day I would love for my future husband and kids to love to come home to good home cooked meals. Ever since I started college I stayed focused and got really good grades, so Im proud of myself and I will surely keep that up.. I may be a little sloppy with controlling my temper since Iam the only girl in the house besides my mother.. My father and my brothers except me to clean up after them and I really dislike that..also getting organized lol umm Im really trying but I always leave things for the last minute and thats a horrible habit..

I had several resolutions in my mind,But I resorted to the most important in my life.My resolution is to not to worry myself because of others' speech, actions, nor thoughts. If such is a case,I wont be hurt by any person. If I m not goin to be worried by someone else,I will automatically be in my path to achieve in my life.I hope you can understand my resoultion because its a little bit complicated for people who dont see things as I do.Anyway everyone's resolution will be to move forward in life.Happy newyear everyone.

yea go for it.. its very hard to ignore others "thoughts actions and words" because they can be so hurtful and if your able to block it well bless you :) .. some people just dont understand how hurtful they can be to others and even traumatize some from achieving there goals.. i actually had a long talk with my mother because i dont get along with few of my siblings and it seems like my friends treat me better than a few of my family members so i decided to kind of block those few family members ... i dont need negative people on my side, i really dont care if your family because even family brings you down..

Hi there Heidi Michelle! My list of New Year's Resolution is not yet final but some would be: Try to save money, try to pamper myself once in a while, avoid negative thoughts, be more active, study harder and eat healthy. I was actually inspired by a book I just read over the Christmas break, Bridget Jones's Diary. It was a good book and it showed how she struggled living by her New Year's Resolutions. I think I will be able to do most of these resolutions except for trying to save money. I love shopping and that's would be hard for me. Not as hard as when we were living in the city, though. since the stuff for sale here in the province are really limited. Good luck with your resolutions!

I have actually given up on the process of making new year's resolutions! The thing is, I never actually stick to them and I find it a very difficult process all round! I have now come up with the idea that I will no longer bother with New Year's resolutions and I will get on with life and just take things as they come, I think this is the best way and then I'm not left in a state of disappointment when things don't happen the way I wanted them to! I'm not saying that it's a bad idea to come up with new plans and goals for the new year but everyone is different and likes to handle things in a different way. At least you have a few goals that you would like to achieve though and that is great and I wish you luck with your endeavours this year. I suppose if I have a main goal though that is to return to fitness! I had a cycling accident and I dislocated my left shoulder and as a result of this I have not been exercising on a regular basis and I certainly would like to return to regular cycling. I'm just waiting to undergo physiotherapy now and then I will hopefully get the ball rolling. Andrew

i do know a resolution can be very stressful thats why a few of my goals are not so hard to keep.. ;) life goes on even thought we screw up and im completely fine with it.. i think its awesome that you dont have one, your living life how it should be.. we cant be stressing over little things ;).. anyway im really sorry to hear about your accident AND I do hope you recover from it so you can go on to cycling again. you have a very strong mind set so im pretty sure youll be cycling in no time :)..

Well, i don't know if you'll ever get over having to clean up after a bunch of boys and your father as well. I would be upset too so i don't think your the one that should make the change. Your father and brothers should make resolutions to clean up after themselves. Its nice to make resolutions. But I don't think you should take on so much at once. A little at a time since you acquirred the behavior a little at a time.

Hi H3idimich3ll3! for me, this new year.. the best resolution i want to input for my new self is to push myself a bit more harder to focus more on my objectives so i can achieve more and fail less. To travel is my biggest dream, and this coming year 2011 will be my soil for my seeds. And yes I'm still be me, But more improve I'll promise myself.. I also want to achieve more on my health issues.. so, I might lessen the smoking this year and the drinking too, so now it'll only be present on me on ocassions and not like an almost everyday hobby with my friends anymore.. And this year I wanted to be more true with issues about me, love, friends, family, feelings and others... I swear to never leave anything unsolve and like A' fine.. I'll be noted.. I'll be posting.. I will be fine. Happy New Year to us all!

To get through the year without losing my sanity. I know what I am in for next year, and I know that no matter what New Year's Resolutions I make, I will not be able to keep them.

I am never a good keeper for new year resolutions let alone materializing them. Year in year out I make a list of resolutions but they remain untouched until the next new year. I rather not initiate one this new year as the one last year is yet to take off the ground.

I don't usually make any "formal" New Years resolutions. I tend to create intentions than resolutions as I view resolutions as commitments and I just hate to break commitments and promises that I make so I tend to very careful with what I say to others about what I am going to do. So my intent in 2011 and is to create more writing and get it up on the Internet and see where my writing can lead me. It is not easy to gain popularity on the Internet through writing, but it can work if I persist and that is what I am going to do... be more persistent.. All the best in 2011 yourself.. _Derek

I don't make New Resolutions anymore. I will break them in a day or two! I also hate when people say they have resolutions and never even try to do theirs! So why bother! If I do promise myself anything I keep it to myself and don't tell anyone. I can hear because no one knows me outside Mylot! If I do anything I would like to win the lottery so I can be finanically secure for once in for all! Next would to get my weight under control! If I do anything in 2011 it is these 2 things!

I haven't thought about it completely, but my 1st one is to read 5 books. I like to keep my resolutions very concrete, simple, and relatively easy.

I don't usually commit to New Year's Resolutions because every time I try to act upon it, I fail. So I never had one. I just try to improve every bit of what I never had or had failed to achieve on the previous year. Each year I make sure, I'm different from the previous ones, even the way I looked before. I just maintain my positive aura and thinking. I think that's what we must always do, Living on the positive. Happy MyLotting everyone!

New Year's resolution is a term often used as a form of commitment made by individuals to create a project, changing habits, changing lifestyles, and other new achievements which uses the moment of the new year. Once again, just use the moment of the new year. Actually, change or resolution does not have to wait for the new year, anytime is fine. Many people who make New Year's resolution just writing or just determination in the liver. Once in the end of the year, there were no positive impacts, which means that they can.

hey cssiduyz,I like your way of seeing a positive approach and oppurtunity every single day instead of making a resolution on a particular special day.But these kind of days may bring about a inspirationa and a push to ones decision and also in forgetting all the failed attempts to keep up a resolution and to get the drive to complete the new one.Happy mylotting.
