which do you prefer. we have both handhelds and the nintendo ds gets much more use. we have a ds each and love multiplayer mariokarts. my daughter especially loves her ds. think she has about 12 games now and it keeps her quiet (which is good!) i go through waves of wanting to use the psp. last game i played was Daxter which i haven't finished yet. might get it out again now that I've remembered i'm in the middle! to sum up, i think the nintendo is much more funand is probably my top choice, but the psp is by far the most impressive and most powerful machine.

I prefer the PSP. It has better games, I should say more games that are my style. I like the way it looks and the way it handles better as well.

i like both, but own neither.
i'll admit to being a gamer, but why use a handheld, when you can use a super large TV or a projector? or a computer monitor even?
i prefer computer/console games ... i have a 42" widescreen lcd monitor that i play everything one.

i kinda agree with you, we have a big tv and all of the available consoles too, and pc's with large monitors. I enjoy those, but find that sometime its fun to have a handheld too. especially when i can wifi play my little girl and not worry that she will trash my console. also find them useful when i'm waiting in the car for her to come out of school. definitely better games on bigger consoles/pcs though.
thanks for your comment
