Well .. Are you Adventist? Why should Christians go to church, while Jesus himself did not go to church ... In fact .. he went to Synagoga. Synagoga is a place of worship of Judaism, religion in the old covenant. Jesus obeyed the law and not ALL sin. Because by this that he could be the perfect victim, the victim and the clean, pleasing sacrifice to God. He also was the high priest, so he presents himself. One of the law is to sanctify the Sabbath day (part of the 10 Commandments.) Therefore Jesus also obey this (correctly obeying Jesus when he healed people, even this is recognized by the Jewish religious leaders at this time.) He later founded the Church (Matthew 16:18, the word "church" is the "Church"). He knew that the Jews would reject it. Before Jesus was crucified he was the Last Supper in which He had institution Eucharist. He said to his disciples, "Do this to remember Me." The Church held the Eucharist to obey Christ. As people are required to attend the celebration of the Eucharist every Sunday. Why did every Sunday? Because God has told us that we have to spend ONE DAY ONLY to rest and lead the heart to Him. In Old Testament times, today is the Sabbath Day and in the New Testament, to remember the rise of the savior, we sanctify Sunday. So, sanctifying the Lord's Day is always a command of God from the Old Testament and also is a command obeyed Jesus with his disciples in obedience. Therefore, if we deliberately, without serious reason, do not go to church on holy days, then we are guilty of having violated the commandments of God. Holy Day of command will be obeyed in accordance with the spirit of Mother Mary who are obedient, not with the spirit of Eve's disobedience. From the Catechism itself: 2181 The Sunday Eucharist is the foundation and confirmation of all Christian practice. For this reason the Faithful are obliged to Participate in the Eucharist on days of obligation, unless excused for a serious reason (for example, illness, the care of Infants) or dispensed by Their own priest. Those WHO deliberately fail in this obligation commit a grave sin.

If God could change his commandment that easy then He would have done it before Jesus came to die. When Jesus was here he told the disciples to pray that they would not have to flee in the winter time or on the Sabbath which means 7th. That didn't happen until 40 years later when Rome came in and destroyed Jerusalem.

IT is the 7th day. Some countries even call the 7th day the Sabbath. Some try to say that the calendar has changed but while the numbers were the days of the week remained the same so Sunday is still Sunday the first day of the week.

In fact Jesus did a lot of work and the miracle on the Sabbath, it makes he accused of violating and Abusing Religious Jews who are believers and hypocrites when it deviated from the teachings of truth. Jesus rose on Sunday, That's why worship is Sunday. Moreover, during the right motivation, Every Day is Worship. Greetings.

The Sabbath is a day of rest which God's "holiday". The Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. So it means we are given a day to rest from all our regular activities
