What comes into the mind when you see a unknown missed call...?

Hi siliguri, i will not get missed calls. But if i get i will make a call to them back and ask them, there may be some purpose to make us call is it. Usually my sister and my brother or my sister in law they do like that, they just give missed call and i have to call back them, their tendency is like that, they donot want to waste their money, but i am not like that, i will make a call thinking they have some work with me or they want to talk to me so i only give them back call to find out. Some missed calls which are unknown number also i will make call to them and findout the reason and the purpose for what they made. Have a good day siliguri.

I never answer unknown caller calls because they have never been anything other than telemarketers or wrong numbers. What is funny is my mom freaks out whenever she gets one! She always seems to think it is someone trying to steal her identity (somehow). Yes, she is totally paranoid about those kinds of calls. Old people are funny that way I guess. Probably has to do with not understanding technology all that well.

Well, I got excited because maybe he's someone I've been waiting for to call me or I'm expecting that he's my crush who got my number from my friend. I'm so ambitious. Hahaha! but I'm excited to text that number and wait for his/her reply only to find out that he/she is just someone else that I usually see everyday like my classmate, my friend etc.

Hi Siliguri, I rarely get any calls on my cell phone these days and I am happy that I am not getting disturbed. When there is a missed call from someone on my contact list, I call back. For other numbers, I dont care. My number has been the same for about 7 years now and all those who know me, know attitude. So they wont give me missed calls from unknown numbers. Cheers, theSids

sometimes i don't bother of knowing who that person is because there are a lot of factors of who might that person is and its a waste of time knowing who that is.. thats what my view is.. :))

hi, when its not registered to my contacts., the first thing come in to my mind is my old friend, to verify this, i will just send a message on that number.

If the number isn't familiar to me, then I just don't bother with it. I figure that if it is important,they will call back, and if it is a wrong number,then the probably will just not bother either. Most of the missed calls I get are from my daughter, and I will call her back when I can, as we talk everyday. She just had a baby in November so i like to see how he is as well. I am glad though that I don't get calls from number I don't know or recognize, as I really don't like getting them at all. Take care, and have a very good day.

I don't bother calling the number since it could just be a wrong number. If the call is on my cell, they will text me in case they really want to talk to me about something. I also don't answer numbers that are not in my list. But if its a land line calling, I normally do so.

hi friend.. nice question...according to me, i first think , whose number may be.. then if i not able to remember, i simply leave it.. if it comes again, surely i will call to that number...

If i see an unknown calling me i mostly ignore it. If i see a missed unknown call i am like "meh" and just tend to ignore it anyways. I'm not interested in people that got my number by not asking me in person and got it behind my back regardless of beeing friends of not, they should've notified me.

oh it happened many times and I always felt guilty for not attending at once to the call but sometimes I'm also annoyed cause the caller's number is not known and unfamiliar.

Nice discussion that you started. Well, I never call back to the number. However, if I get a miss call twice or more times from a same number, I do call back just to be sure of there is no problem. Else, I always think that the person who has the need should call rather than giving a miss call.

I do get nervous sometimes when I get a missed call from an unknown number. I never call them back because there's that possibility that it could be telemarketing or something more sinister. My take on it is that if it was somebody important, they wouldn't call me on an unknown number and or else they would have left a voice mail. There's also the possibility that it could be someone prank calling me. I remember one time that an unknown number kept calling my phone and I continued to ignore it until I got pissed off and answered it to tell them to stop calling me. It turned out to be my little sister and she thoroughly enjoyed my frustration.

I am not feeling stressed to see unknown missed call because I observe most of the time company add call is there. Some time I call back and some time not.

I have a prepaid tracfone so I dont like answering the phone unless I know whose number it is that is calling because if I dont know the number then its probably just a wrong number. If I answer it and its a wrong number then it just costs me money to answer the phone. My daughter just got a cell phone from her aunt and her phone keeps ringing a lot with 800s calling her phone. We dont answer the phone as it will waste her minutes and no one will call her phone as no one knows her number.
