Hi Awapak, I was raised a catholic and I know many Christians. I will be very surprised if you find many of them that are confused and really think that Jesus and God are one and the same. I'm pretty sure that they are all aware that that isn't true at all. This doesn't seem like breaking news to me. Are there really that many that think that Jesus is God? I've never met even one person that thought that. Interesting.

Thanks for responding and sharing your nice views and sentiments.I believe God Almighty has created human nature on monotheism.God Almighty tells us in the holy Quran that He had taken a divine Oath from all human souls before birth of Adam to testify that HE ALONE IS THEIR LORD.The devil knows polytheism is the biggest and only unforgivable sin, that's why he tries to indulge maximum people in this sin.He creates doubts in our minds.

This would be the Dr Naik that claims that one third of New Yorkers are gay, that every Muslim should be a terrorist and that he is with Osama Bin Laden? And that is banned from entering UK and Canada as a hate-monger? all the best urban

Makro, Actually Urban and I hardly ever see eye to eye on much of anything. Sorry Urban but it's true. Still, on this point, I have to side with Urban. He is not fabricating anything as far as I can see. I also would love to see an actual quote from the bible here. I don't think you will find one.

I am responding based on how I would personally see this.. emphasized "personally". If you mean God the creator of all life and beginning of everything, then Jesus is not God. God is The Father who allowed Jesus to be born to us. Jesus himself cried to God (Father) as He is dying then He is not God. But then, I do believe that Jesus is the Way to, Word and Truth about God. He was born to us so we know the way to live according to God as summarized by His two most important teachings 1) Love God with all your heart 2) Love your neighbor as oneself. But as humans we would say that is impossible! How can I love nor forgive my enemy? This is why Christ has to be born to us so He can be human in every way meaning He can be tempted, He is exposed to prejudices, He can feel hunger, tired, pain, anger and perhaps even lust. We can relate to these weaknesses. However, these so called human weakness did not cause Him to sin or stop Him from doing what he is supposed to. He overcame them and He wants us to do the same. This is why for me "He is one with God".

I have not seen the video you referenced but if what you mean is Jesus as The God, The Father then yes, He is not because Jesus is the Son. That is how I would think of it personally, so I hope I do not offend anyone.

I pulled up Dr Zakir Naik, and had to keep watching a couple more videos.... one was from a question that an atheist girl in the audience gave him, asking about why in islam, men can have more then 1 wife? (if you'd like to see it, search for "Atheist (Nasthik) Girl Questions Dr Zakir (1/2)" ) and in it, Naik says that men should have multiple wives, because there are millions more women in the world them men, and God didn't want the women to grow up lonely, or being open to anyone... but upon a quick look-up on the internet, I found out that the world is actually about 50.1% men, and 49.9% women... that means there's about 65 million more men on this planet, then women. I mean, this is a small little piece, but if you keep looking, you'll find more, showing that Zakir Naik is full of BS.

Well, it even shows at the bottom of the page you posted, that in the world, there are 3.442 billion men, and 3.386 billion women, showing that there are 56 million more Men, overall. Extra funny part in relation to Zakir Naik, is that he is from India, the leader of the biggest countries in the world in higher percentages of males (618 million to 579), and the most devout Islamic countries, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Libyan Arab, Syria, and Oman, all have larger amounts of men to women.

Bible does not say Jesus was a prophet. Are you surprised? Christians already know that Jesus was not God but Son of God. Not only he but we all are Sons of God but the difference is that he was divine but we are not. Divine means something that was never seen or something that never existed before. God is a pure spirit, but Jesus was not. Everybody knows this. Jesus had in him God's essence, but you and I do not have it in its purest form. God had breathed into Adam's nostril the breath of life. That breath of life was the soul, God's very essence, which in Adam's body had turned impure and changed into soul. To shed that impurity Jesus underwent through sufferings and passions. The soul that left his body had changed into Holy Spirit. In his human form Jesus was not God, only after shedding the human form he had changed into God. Sadly Dr. Zakir Naik does not know this.

Hi awapak, Is this the URL you are referring to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqPdNsjQxGQ This guy "Zakir Naik" seems to be comparing religions, that is not good. What "Zakir Naik" is saying, I am sure, his own descendants after 50 years, will laugh at that. If you want to know the reason why, go through this documentary series: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DCCXbWTQNw (this is first part other parts will be listed on that youtube webpage) I request all of you to at least once watch this documentary and instead of asking anyone else, ask yourself, what the truth is? We are living in 21st century, things which are written in old books are nothing else but symbolic representation of "advanced technology" that people saw and experienced in those times. Now is the time to open our eyes and start thinking about ourselves Whatever be the past or the truth, one thing is sure, it doesn't matter what our religion is we are all same. I don't know what was the motive of creating religions but I can see that in 21st century it has become a threat to humanity to some extent. "God" word has very deep meaning, if someone asks about god, I would say, I agree with this definition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hi6yPJvCFU0 All of us believe in our "own" god and most of us also believe in science. If Darwin theory is explained to you in 21st century, you will accept it (yes for most of us) but at the same time we do have a feeling that god has created us and he is the one who is with us in tough times. But only one of these theories could be true. Check this URL and decide yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYI9qC56mGs&feature=related In one line, I want to say, we all are one. We should not encourage people who try to divide us on the basis of religion. Religion itself has so many question marks.
