LA Lakers - What is wrong?

I guess you guys have noticed the Lakers loosing a whole lot of games that they should be winning. Just today we saw Memphis kick the Lakers' butt despite a 28 point performance by Kobe. I have this theory for the solution to their problems: Pass the ball. I think this is the solution because the Lakers total number of assists are really low compared to other teams they were facing. Just last night they had 13 assists in total. You can admit that Kobe is ball hogging and shooting too much but, this team ain't winning. What do you guys think is the actual problem?

i know many of my friends are Kobe's fans. i love NBA but i am not a person who care about only one person. i don't blaim the players even if they lose. everyone has tried their best to win, they just made the way they thought.

Greetings You don't seem to answer the question. You have taken a middleman position where you don't want to take sides. This is supposed to be a discussion. Answer the question.

lakers are doing bad im also saying that because i hate the lakers and lots of my friends atre laker fans. so they get mad. lakers are actually a pretrty good team but they dont know how to play together. im pretty happy lakers are doing bad because that means spurs wont get kicked out of the first spot in the west.

You have only said this right. Kobe is a ball hogger and he is very selfish and all to him and wants all the attention on him and not just the whole team. I think he thinks its all about him and its not he plays on a team and needs to step up and be a team player. Being a Miami Heat fan and having a really good team this year is great but we did play the Lakers already and watching that game was awful it was really a good game at all because the Lakers are not themselves at all and they need to sit Kobe more and get the other players in that can do something for the team.

Yes, you are right. It must be all those rings he has. It was fun to watch LBJ kick Lakers butt. I really think the Lakers won't win the championship this year due to this conflict. Even in yahoo, they revealed how Phil Jackson treats his players. Thanks for the reply and have a nice day :)

After winning two champions, LA Lakers don`t have passions and willing to fight any longer!

You said it .In my expression ,when Paul Gasol gets 5 plus assists ,L.A always wins the game .Admittedly ,Paul is the core of lakers. However, recently ,they just have not known how to make use of the big guy .Instead ,all players in lakers seem enthusiastic to fight on their own ,especially Kobe Byrant .If they figure out how to make the most of Paul ,it is a piece of cake to win the game for lakers .What do you say ?

I think there is no problem whatsoever . There are just stretches in the season that teams lose focus , or just not their night and eventually lose games . But it isn't really isn't big to worry much because the Lakers are still on top of the standings. Every teams go through that . I believe they have improved so much as a team , thanks to the additions and improvements of key players like Shannon Brown . I don't believe that Kobe hogs the ball too much , he has great supporting casts , why would he try do so much ? To attest that such is Gasol's continued dominance in the paint . Means he's also having his share of the ball . They are a much cohesive team now .

Every time has its own string of losses and crisis. The Lakers did experience this last December.. But I think that they can rise up again and they keep on winning now.
