There are choices that you were forced to decide on certain time... which one will you choose in those circumstances: 1. you barely have money to live for 1 month 2. You really want to save up this money for at least 2 months. 3. You have the opportunity to go for a one life-trip with your friends which could be promisingly memorable. 4. Your dream is to travel the world and this is a great opportunity. 5. The ticket to go there is quite expensive. half of the money that you would spend for 2 weeks. What would you do? Choose happiness over money? or money over happiness P.s. happiness equals to satisfaction

Money is valuable, but happiness is priceless. The once in a lifetime trip sounds really cool, and I would probably go and spend the money. However, choosing to stay home and save my money instead of going on the trip isn't necessarily choosing money over happiness. There are lots of things at home that make me happy.

Well some people believe that money can get you some amount of happiness. But one should consider this also that if a man is very happy then he wouldn't need any money at all will he? Because he is already happy and why would he need more money for himself? If i was given a choice i would take happiness because money can be earned and lost but small amounts of happiness are enough to keep you at safe and at home forever! Cheers!

Nice response, I would choose happiness too, in the case that if there is no tommorow, you can say that you die happily...

This situation, to spend the money on a trip or to save it, must be carefully considered. You have to decide if you will regret spending the money on the trip after you have traveled on your dream trip. If you know you will have no regrets, then you should go on the trip. However, if you are financially not stable and this money is to assist you with your financially obligations, then you must use wise judgement and save the money.

I think i will go with the money because i think happiness can wait and inmean time i can work and make money so that even if i go on a trip there is the amount to support my daily needs. If i decide to go on a trip choosing happiness over money well yes i will be happy that i have visited places around the world but what will happen next?!where can i afford to support my family,my parents,my siblings. So for a person who does not have family -no responsibilities can take this risk but i cant!

Yes, in your case, having a family is of course the most priority in your life, But the fact that happiness is once in a life time and if you die tommorow, you can say that you die happily but in choosing money, you wont be happy at all.

well.. in my own opinion.. since i can totally relate with you since i have experienced same thing as you do.. well for me.. i would choose happiness over money.. the reason for this is .. we have the same dream.. to travel around the world.... and i know how it feels to go somewhere and feel so great about it and be with your friends.. i choose happiness because happiness and one life time trip with your friends can never be bought by any gold or dime.. it is just a little sacrifice thou that you would be making.. i tell you.. you can find money anytime but it is difficult to find happiness.. just imagine yourself being together with your friends and able to go to the place you wanted the most.. it will bring you so much joy and happiness and fulfillment that you are one step closer to your dream.. choose happiness over money =) happiness is something that no one can ever take away from you.. =)

in this situation, unfortunately i have to forgo my happiness here and keep the money because i need to be able to survive... i have to be able to use my limited resources wisely until i can find another job and make money... then i can have fun with my friends... survival here is more important for me than having fun... take care and have a nice day...

Money can't buy happiness, regardless of how much money you have in your pocket. Having no money means you can't enjoy happiness yet but to fight hard to live. Having too much money also meaning that you can't live happily as rich means being greed and selfishness. If you want to live happily, have God in your heart and always pray.

If I am going to choose between money and happiness of course I will choose money, happiness will follow if you have money, Yes we can say that there are things that money can't buy, but somehow it is better to cry in lamborghini than in a bicycle. See you around!

I've never spent money looking for happiness. We've been dirt poor in this family and still found happiness. We've risked income for health and happiness. We've surprised employers by our ability to quit working for mean, nasty people. One of my bosses had to do my job for a year because of his ignorance. Hubbys employer had to hire three people to take the place of him. When one of my employers expected more out of me that humanly possible, she had to hire to part time people to work 12 hours a day to my 8. Ha ha ha ha. Now that happiness!

This is indeed a very good question.Ofcourse its happiness all the way, time can make you happy with so many reasons, and money is just one of them. Live life with full contentment and try to be as good as you can be.

I started a topic about money vs happiness too in the chat-room.. The Majority is Happiness while I was the only person who pick money over happiness TqT!! Ugh~ I'm such loser!! The other guy said there- you can still be happy even though you don't have money. and the other one said- Money is a B*tch to earn!! And I said: Money! Because if you don't have money there's no happiness.. I was like~ what? What did I just said?! right now?! ^_^' Meaning my happiness is just a material.. No, Uh!! and then I somehow understand why did they choose happiness over money =$o$)

I would think on an as needed basis; do I need it? If the answer is no then I won't spend for it. I try to think logically and put my principles and values into play. I also think of people that need the money worse than I do. What would they spen it on? I try to put others before myself alot of times. I don't put want and greed in front of what the less fortunate would do. Imagine the average debt a person with credit cards have, and you will have the majority for your question.

I pick happiness over money. Money comes and goes. Money is not human and it only holds the value of buying things that you need. Even though it can go further than this. Most people that are famous, you'll think they are happy cause they're rich and you'll be surprised on how many famous people not happy. They feel that they have the happiness to spend on whatever they want but all in the end they're still not happy why cause they want to be seen and looked at just like a regular person. Happiness to me is when you have some money to spend at times and don't. But you can still manage to be happy around the people you enjoy being around. When you earn too much money you'll have to watch over your back and others etc.

Well, I think I will choose money. Because as per my opinion, money is ofcurse important in my life. Because without it, I cant bring the little happiness in my family's face. When I bring some chocolates for my little cousin, it makes her so happy that my eyes fills with tears. But without money I will never ever be able to do it. But I am not crazy about earning money. So I will go for money.

Maybe happiness is important but it can wait to improve your financiar condition, but other chose this option without thinking what will happen after that trip that you went with your friends and if they are your real friends they will say to you to not go because they want your good. The case that your reffering is when you have good financial situation and you only stay at home or only work then you need to make friends or go with friends in a life-trip were you can have fun.
