A phone call...

Today I got a phone call from a lady at church asking how everything was going on. I missed Sunday at church since the van's battery had died out on us during the night. After I hung up with her I felt that God must have had her call on a day that just didn't feel right. I was dreaming last night about my parent's, then this morning I got an e-mail from my older brother telling me that I should just wait it out on my parent's but then she called. I feel that although my parent's are no longer in my life at least I have family and friends who live close by that care. Amazing how just a phone call can make a difference in someones life. Do you remember an important call that changed your day?

I have some friends that can call or e mail at just the right time. I think your brother is wie in what he is telling you, and the woman at church is a truly caring soul. I have had people say just what I needed to hear at just the right time and it really touches your soul.

I think you are right in what my brother had told me but for some reason at the moment I read the e-mail I was very upset. I guess there is nothing he can do to make anything better. I love my friend Rosie. Her husband passed away two years ago. We knew both of them so I understood how hard it was for her to adjust. I know these calls came from God, including the e-mail, as well as your post.
