Everyone is talking about it, The new youtube tries to push the individual channels down and try to let the big companies make most of the profit. Youtube looks more like Hulu everyday. Big companies are putting videos with an artists soundtrack down without even asking. What do you think about the new youtube? Do you think youtube should get back to how it was? Do you like youtube better than 5 years ago?

The only way a youtube channel will have a chance againts big companies are two things, its either have very attractive woman with big chest and make her the thumbnail of the video or have have cute cats on your video because cats gives millions of views. I also notice videos that are not HD dont get views, so to all people who wanted to earn partnership and money out of youtube or they just want the honor of having videos with lots of views, then they need HD cameras, Have hot chicks, cute babies and have cats.

I really feel the difference trying to get referrals. With my keyword techniques I got 5500 views with ease 1-2 years ago. Now I only get 40-200 views. It really annoys me how youtube changed. Now I have to blog to get my referrals and let the big companies go away with the money that once belonged to all youtube users, not just the big companies.

I don't think that big companies are taking over YouTube. Sure, there are big companies on YouTube, but I don't think they push the little guys out of the way. I like the new YouTube because now all my favorite channels can make money through the partnership program. The only reason they might have to work a little harder for views is because YouTube itself is bigger these days. More videos, more competition and less views for the losers. Still, there are "little guy" channels that have loads of views and are not squashed by the big companies on YouTube.
