Is it already Thursday? Where did the week go?

Just a minute ago, it was Sunday. Or, so it seems. But, now it's already Thursday. Where in the world did the week go? I don't live my life by a clock or calender usually except for paying bills, but I usually remember the day of the week. I was thinking it must be Wednesday today. It's been a wacky week. I think that I must have misplaced a whole day cause of all the rain yesterday. Rain leaves a big gap in my week. So anyway, what's your week been like so far? Weird? Normal? Better than usual? Do you feel like your week went too fast?

This week does seem to be flying by. For me I think it's because my middle daughter is moving out of town this weekend. Her and I...and her little sister are are fretting over the move. They are only moving just over an hour away, but without a reliable vehicle to be able to visit on a regular basis, the whole thing is making me really nervous. Especially since she is also pregnant with her first child. Marsha

I was wondering how far that was for you, it is an hour for me as well from here, straight out on Hiway 56. Marsha, it will all work out for her. Maybe you can take Jasmine and spend a few days when the baby is due.

I would be freaking out too and very sad. I hope the situation works out for you all and you can visit your daughter often even after she moves out of town.

Well yeah I guess it went kind of fast, but than again I have been trying to finish my hours in the lab at my college for my English class so it felt kind of slow and that was not so much fun I feel really tired like I have been up this whole week. It kind of went fast, but than again not so much because I only have been sleeping a little bit and I have been awake for a very long time. What I hate is that when I am away from school that time goes super slow for me I think it's because I don't have to bored in a class room and I could do what I pretty much want. Time usually goes by quick when one has fun I mean that's why we say that saying time flys by it really does when we are having lots of fun, but when we are bored time always goes slow that it is so boring and time seems to slow down all of a sudden. That's what I hate time sure is different when having fun or being bored, but I guess that's just how time works for us now a days.

I am doing really major cleaning and organizing. Expecting company tomorrow evening. I lost a day there for a while. When I have something to anchor the days on they do not get lost as often. I thought yesterday was Tuesday. Going to choir practice let me know it was Wednesday.

Yes, the same for me too. Special events and special dates help me remember what day it is. The only reason I remember to celebrate New Years day is cause it's my daughter's birthday. That's what makes it so special to me and that was last Saturday. That seems like just a few days ago, but it's been almost a week.

I agree this week has seemed to go by pretty fast. It's been almost a week since New Year's Day. Which was great this year. I went with my dad to go see my sister, niece and nephew. So I had a great New Year's day. I hope this year is a really good year.

Nice to talk to you again. I'm so happy to hear that you had a really good New year's day. We had the best New Years day ever, cause it was my daughter's birthday. So, really every New years day from here on out will be spectacular. Of course, she's just a little kid, so it wasn't a big celebration, but she seemed very happy and kept making funny crazy faces for my little web cam. I have a good feeling that you will have a really good year this time. Fingers crossed!

It certainly seems as though the week just flew by, for myself as well. I don't know where my week went. It's crazy how this can happen sometimes. It's not the first time this has happened. But it seems like it's been a while.

This was one of those weeks for me too. Everything flew by so fast since my daughter's birthday. I think it was just the excitement of celebrating her birthday on the first and then the week following. Everything has been a blur.

Hello Beauty, i don't feel the time so much since i live for the present day. It's been that way from an year now, we always are worried for something. Now around the holidays i realized that i lost not a day, not a week, but whole year doing nothing, only being worried for bills, food, banks credits and surviving. I will change that for sure, because loosing time with nothing is so so bad and the life is going too fast.

When you have to worry about money, it takes up a lot of time. Hopefully, this year will be better for you financially so you don't have to worry as much and can move on to more productive ventures.

Well, even though this discussion was started 4 months ago, it is Thursday here, and it does seem like there are weeks where the days just seem to fly by, and overall, this week does definately seem to be one of them. I know I have been working the Swing Shift and been very busy to not have much time to be online lately so that makes it move even faster. But gee it is April 7th already. Time just continues to fly by with no stopping in sight.

My week flew by! I'm adjusting to a new routine, so I didn't even notice the days of the week this week. I'm going to try to slow down next week and maybe pay more attention - I don't want to always be rushing through life.

Being a stay at home mom, you'd think my days would go slower, but they really don't. Something new everyday to deal with.

I don't know where the week went either. Sunday I listened to the Croatian and Serbian shows on the radio, and now, here it is, Thursday. Time for a brand new episode of The Big Bang Theory.

I loved watching that show when it first came on. But, this last year or so, I haven't been into the show since I lost my DTV. I could just watch the shows online, but usually I'm using my connection and screen to Mylot and do surveys, so my computer is otherwise engaged. I might just rent the Big Bang Theory DVDs from Netflix. That would let me watch the show without having to crowd out my computer to watch the shows online.

I realized that time passes so fast and that also mean our earthly existence is rolling fast too. When I look in the mirror every morning I see an old lady looking back at me. Oh..I am fast going downhill. Everyday I wake up around 9am or 10am and after doing some household chores, sit in front of the computer and soon it will be 4 o'clock. I just couldn't feel where the 24 hrs time gone to.

Sorry I didn't get to your comment sooner. My daughter woke up with a rash on the palms of both hands. She started complaining that she'd been bit by something. I think it must have been ants, cause we get ants in the house this time of year. I hope it's not more serious. I've been consumed with that for awhile. I would have responded earlier otherwise. As for the getting older situation, I'm right there with you. My skin doesn't bounce back from acne the way it used to. And, it's very dry, since I had my daughter in my early thirties. I know it's just a hormone change, but I miss my good skin. Takes so much effort to look young these days. Though I do find that my skin looks so much younger and fresher when I wear mineral makeup. And, it doesn't irritate my skin. So that's a plus. I wouldn't have even thought to use mineral make up when I was a young woman.

I'm hoping the weather will be better for the weekend. But, I doubt it! In our area, the weekends are always really rainy. I don't know why.

I should say that mine went too fast...and that is NORMAL. If there's a week that seems to be going to slow for me then that is unusual. There are always lots of things for me to do being a full time mom and trying to earn a bit and keep myself mentally active online. It seems to be that since the holiday season started I also lost track of the days of the week. So you are not alone my friend. They say when time goes so fast that means that you are busy and active. I think that is fine.

Thank you for saying so! We must have been thinking the same thing, cause just as I finished up my last comment I noticed you had mentioned the same thing about being a stay at home mom, working to make a little extra money. I'm just the same way. We are in that same boat, trying to manage a family and earn grocery money. It's not always easy. But, the rewards of being home for my family is nice.

It's hard to believe how quickly the week passes. when i am anxious for something, the days will drag by. if I am not waiting for something, the week will be over before it has a chance to begin.

My week drags along most of the time. It's nice having a laid back schedule, nowhere in particular to go. Life is good. Take it easy.

Hi beautyqueen. Time does fly right on by us with or without our knowledge, doesn't it? I've found that what my mother has said, the older you get the faster time flies on by. I didn't believe her but now that I've gotten older, I've found it to be true more and more. One day my fur babies are just babies and the next I know, they're years old and I wonder, where the hell did the time go? lol

Yes, I think the week went by too fast too? I was just telling my husband that last night, I couldn't believe it was already Thursday. Its been a good week tho, I don't know why I think it went by fast, but it did.

As I read this discussion, it is already Tuesday. And the green note on the above right hand of the discussion says '2 weeks ago'. This made me worry a bit. That while you may have misplaced a whole day, I might have misplaced a whole 2 weeks! I'm sure nothing special happened to me that I could remember, which makes me think that the past couple of weeks must have been forgotten, or forgettable.

well the cool thing is...tomorrow is friday, isn't that what everybody hopes for? and on top of that, it's been a short week since i was off on monday. but seriously though...the week does to by fast...and then you look at the broader strokes of things and realize...wait a minute, the month has gone by even faster...and then it's the year and so on....but i guess as you age on, the time ages on with you...
