I think a student should co-operate and help their classmates by all possible means. A student who don,t want to help their classmates is not an ideal student. What is your opinion about this statement?

Yeah I know a kind of students who are so jealous that they do not want to share what they know with anyone else for fear that others may overtake them. But the fact is almost none of these students could really do very well in their study. I think the one who do not pay attention to co-operate can hardly learn from others while hiding themselves in a corner, so I think the word "ideal" is not only in the aspect of others but of the student himself.

Yes,you are right. If we co-operate other then we will lose nothing rather we will gain something. If we help other regarding any study material then our knowledge will be enriched about that topic.

Hello friend from my point of view it depends what help you can give or they are asking (we must aware of that). Why? Because like for example asking your friend to help to sell drungs inside the campus what do you do? So we must have wisdom and aware for helping and we know that... see you around

I'm glad I found a discussion like this. I'm in a state of extremely wanting to torture group of people because they're so lazy. I'm the one who's making all the requirements and they're not. I realized that I made a stupid mistake and I'm very much willing to leave them.

I would have to slightly disagree on this one. In my opinion, the ideal student is the one who can hold his ground at school, without resulting in unfair means (cheating) and just trying the best he could. In my school, there are students who don't even TRY to pass the subject, so in my opinion, why bother offering them help?

I would say that I strongly agree with this statement. In university I have to engage in discussions, group work etc with other students and around 10% of our grades are based on work where we help and discuss issues with others, in these situations helping your fellow student is vital. I also think it's common courtesy to help each other out, you never know when you may need the help of someone else so you should always help them too.

If it's help for studying, then I do think that it's fair to say that we should help each other out, whenever possible. Personally, I think that this is a good idea, as it's a good way of reviewing information and such. I have certainly found it beneficial, when I've had study groups. It has helped. So, that's why I don't have a problem with this. Besides, I enjoy helping other people out.
