I had Terrible "END OF THE WORLD" Dream..

Hello Lotters,
This is regarding the dream I had the other night when am supposed to be awake early morning.
Though I didn't dream about the World Blowing up or the Land drying up or anything. I've heard a bit through announcement that the Earth is going to be hit by a minor Solar storm that can't penetrate Underground only the City Cite ground itself.
Next thing I knew we were interviewing for the selection process to stay in an underground Colony. that's right, an underground city limited to i don't know how many.then, i was given a card, blind folded and sent into that place miles below. though, it's the Matrix thing where the city of Zion is underground but this wasn't cause of a Machine invasion but a Solar Storm.
But i didn't get any thing nor credits to buy staff or rations, i end up wandering through out the entire colony and walk around like a bunch of beggar or something.
well, that was it. what do you think? some dream. that was like ten hours of sleep.

I can see this happening. I know that the moon, sun and the rest of the stars will fall from the sky one day.

The power of subconscious thinking my friend. Sometimes we subconsciously think about so many things in life that they spill over into wild dreams. Seems like in your dream the world was ending then it recovered and no one gave you recognition.
Sounds like life doesn't it?

hate is that I never took over my dreams and own it as my own. I experience it as if is random and I have no control over it. No, this is the world ended on surface and the city was intact under ground but in my dream I travelled from escalator to the other wondering around and begging. I think in some way it was either I lost it or some one stole it from me.

Dreams can't be really explained. But sometimes they are byproduct of our own mind. When we think so much of one thing, we can have them in dreams. Also when we have encountered one experience and think a lot of it we do encounter them in dreams as well although with some variations. Sometimes dreams could signal some message and could happen in the days ahead.
The end of the world will surely come and signs of end times could be seen and felt all around. We just don't know the exact time. It could be one of these days or could be hundreds or thousands of years more. Nobody knows! Whatever is the reason why you dreamed of the end of the world, I believe all you have to do is just be prepared for the end of the world. We should all be actually!

Scary! Yes scary, very scary for as the Bible says in 2 Peter 3:10 "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."
This is the time when God will execute judgment. Scary indeed for many people because many are not prepared to see the end of the world. So we must prepare by now so that that day will not be scary to us.
In 2 Peter 3:13-14 it says: "Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

I believe the end of society or a species is possible. Our world will end fast if we don't take care of our resources. Global warming could be permanent if people are not aware of changing and protecting nature. I guess my dream is possible, but the end of the world thing is not really something I am looking forward to. That was just scary for me. Have a nice day.

Great dream...those were result of your wild imagination my dear brother.
We dream of things from what we think the previous time/day before we sleep.
Sometimes,we just dream of weird/scary things.
Dreams have message to us...but very rare that happens in reality.
The world will end soon...we never knew when,and how.

No, Sis. Before I went to sleep I imagined a women besides me, and you know the stuff I can imagine from there. Probably something that I have gathered while watching sic fi movies but I haven't watch movies like that in months. This is a reflection of the current life style as you mention in your last few discussions - the conflict within - the search of "Who I am" and "What I am doing at the end of the day".
As you mention - i end up wandering through out the entire colony and walk around like a bunch of beggar or something - I see it related to your other post - "Its My Birthday And I dont like Celebrating it". and an earlier post too where it all started.
Bro(if you allow me to call you that) you are hurting yourself by doing things beyond your physical capacities. I understand there is some deep necessity that needs you continue but we are humans not the PCs or Gadgets - even they need some time off... All I can say is please take care and be in someway safe - I remember you mentioning some other people need you - stay fit for them if not yourself.

I like this responses of yours, although it's not entirely accurate but it does resembles of what's happening to me. The search for who I am I think has stumbled on something negative for me as I felt lost in the path some where. Unfortunately, these are the moments that “I want to stay fit for myself” and not for them. I have been conscious with my self lately but some how can't do a damn thing about it, I couldn't even have time to exercise.
I don't want to hurt myself but some where I felt disturbed that my past failures of two years has led me to something I didn't want or expect. Never thought my life would be like this in 2010-2011. only if I can tell my past about it, am sure he would have change his mind about leaving his present career and still get to know mylot early...well, thanks a lot BRO.have a nice day.

No, I didn't watch “end of the world” movies before I had this dream, probably some depression that i'd been having lately that led me to this dream. The colony I had dreamed was more like a city within 8 miles below and nothing like zion since it has buildings but what was more visible to me was the escalator and some stores inside a colonial mall. Thanks.

Well, it's not the end of the world that I dreamed, it's actually the aftermath of it but they were survivors out there. But yeah, I don't want to dream it as well, have a nice day.

Not in this time, I was thinking of having an affair with some one as it eases me to sleep. But the dream was just terrible indeed. I don't know what made me dream of it, probably because of sleeping long enough for me to see it though. Well, a dream is a dream, I hope I didn't have a random premonition or anything or it will surely be in trouble though. Thank you for you're concern there.

I, too, always have terrible "end of the world dreams". Slightly different from yours because they always have something to do about the galaxy going crazy. I'd look up the sky and see crazy stuff going to hit the earth. And then, I'd see Jesus coming down from heaven to make His judgment.

The galaxy is actually rotating but too slow for us to notice. Anything is just part of the cycle of life. As for God, I never saw him in the dream but probably just bits of pieces. I should say it is a bad dream, why because end of the world means there is no more anything and nothing leftover except dark. I have recently read about the solar storms on the Sun, but that does not really effect Earth I believe.Dreams does not really have any meaning in my opinion. It is just your thoughts and the things you read somewhere will picture as dream.
I should also your dream is a very good story line for Hollywood directors to make another film like 2012.I sincerely wish your dream never comes true,hope you did wished the same.

Hello yosup, under colonies are the best way to prevent the exploitation of natural resources and then preserve our forest. But it can be vulnerable to earth quakes and could cause more deaths than the ones in the surface cities. Thanks.

That's a short dream for ten hours. Even though everyone manage to succumb below the surface, its going to be a different ball game. Up here we can grow vegetables normally, down there, well there are different resources that w might find. but lacks the nurture of sunlight. I hope that underground agriculture should be utilized as well. There is a possibility your dream might come true. A personal colony perhaps. We'll never know.

when we dream my friend, time is not present in our subconscious. Yeah, maybe it was a short scene but that was my dream for almost ten hours. I love having my own underground colony since i'd rather be at home from most of the time. Well, we can still create ultra violent light from devices in heat. We only needed something to create as a substitute.well, enough of that, thanks anyways.

Hello Syoti, or maybe it would be my fate If I don't do something with my life some day. Nope, if I am waiting for an interview, the dream would be different. During my applying to certain job, I even had a dream of such interview and then woke up with a call from a person who's supposed to interview me.
