both industry are innovative, if you compare their price Intel is much expensive than AMD. Our personal computer is AMD processor and working about 2 years old. memory of AMD shared with the Graphic. In our country most cafe stations were using AMD processor. If you have a lot of money i refer to buy Intel because it has a great speed. i like to set-up I-7 i always googling for cheap Hi speed PC's.

Ok.If I use AMD machine then I will have less speed. Will it be sufficient to perform my normal day-to-day works.I will not do any special types of work where speed is dominating.

No, it will depend on how many programs you open, this is my specs of my computer that works with windows 7 ultimate; processor : AMD sempron(tm)3200+ 1.80 GHz memory : 1.37GB (1 gigabyte + 512 mb) graphics cards ; None hard disk: 80GB software used: microsoft office 2010 adobe CS4 masters collection (2GB memory requirment) works fine and also with my priemer.. expect to render file slowly.. for your information our personal computer is a PC bundle with our internet bundle last 2 years ago, yes it works well in the pass but time to time a lot of new models were flooding in the Emarkets. hope it helps you and for those readers..

I guess we can get AMD processors at cheaper rates compared to an Intel processor with the similar specs. The performance depends mainly on the number of transistors the processors have, the more the better, and it has nothing to do with brand names Intel or AMD.

i think it depends so if you consider different chipset or processor as regards desktop computers it depends from your need so they cna be considered almost equal..if you consider laptop/notebook probably intel should result a bit powerful than amd ones...even if they improved really much their processors in last periods.

If you take my advice,AMD performed till the core than Intel. They are both powerful however base in my experience,AMD last much more longer compared to Intel.I do have AMD V Series processor V 120.It's not so perfect but fitting fine with my Vid car ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD4270.I just bought it 300 euros since it's factory price. This is the unrelease laptop of MSI.Feel so satisfied with it.Can play huge games.it's DDR3 can support 8 gb that's for Ram I got SATA2 support upto 500gb.It will be nice if it supports 1 tera.Lol.
