It is a pity to the innocent child who was born to the garbage can. I have just watched the news on tv that there was a baby found in the garbage bin. I couldn't believe that there are mothers who could afford to abandon their child in a place unfit for human beings. The child was said to be alive when thrown there.......... Whew, I can't believe it!

Yeah, there are some people who are just heartless. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Sad but true. I hope the baby's still alive. Some people are just irresponsible and don't think forward so when they get pregnant they just treat those little angels as nothing. They only think of what's now and not think about the consequences of what they're doing. Gawd, it just pisses me off when I know about people like these. But sadly that's part of reality and unfortunately, we can't control them. I guess the best thing that we can do to prevent these incidents is to start within ourselves. Educate the people around us. Our kids, our family, our relatives, our friends, our neighbors. I hope that there weren't any mental/emotional damage to the child but I'm afraid that's not possible. I hope that the child has been given treatment so that he/she will not grow up bitter/bad.

Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. That is really sad. I hope incidents like this won't happen again. I'm sure the child is safely in God's arms right now.

We wonder how the mothers who gave birth to them could afford to sleep soundly at night after what they had done. It is so disgusting to say the least how such humans could afford to do what they do. I could not even throw a new-born dog or cat. How much more a human being that came from your own body!

What do people care anymore? Abortion has trivialized life and all living things. And I agree with you, I couldn't toss a newborn dog or cat either.

Yup, such cases often happens here, a savage behavior of those who are not responsible, I do not know, this is a social phenomenon of shame, a lot of baby dumping occurred intentionally, in a bin, on the roadside, in gardens, on the home page, on the riverbank, and there are several different motives. On the other hand, many people are hard to find a baby for adoption, some even so bold as to trade the baby. The fact is ironic.

That is an unfortunate fact considering that there are would-be mothers who have wanted to conceive all through the years but couldn't. That is indeed so insensible to think, truly that mother is heartless. I pity this child really.

I am one of those who wanted so much to conceive but couldn't and it took four years of trying until finally I was given......... I also pity the child but not the mother.

I heard and seen this over the news a while ago and I was saddened why many women nowadays have no conscience and fear treating their babies like that? If they cannot rear them, then there are organizations that can help them and do not just dump them. I hate it because it shows their immaturity and ignorance, same is through with their being selfish.

It is terrible that a mother put her newborn baby into a garbage bin. I have heard of other mothers leaving their unwanted baby in a church where someone is likely to find the baby and contact the police. Then the police would contact a social worker via the social services. The baby could then be fostered and possibly later adopted. A garbage bin is dirty and totally wrong for a newborn baby. The little baby was an innocent one that should have been adopted to a loving couple. It is likely the mother is a teenager that just didn't know what to do.

This isn't the first child to have this done to them. When it comes to situations like this, from what I have read in recent years, it is due to a fear that runs through a young teenagers mind. They aren't sure what to do, don't want to get caught or in trouble because they are scared and unsure. They also don't want the responsibility and figure they can just throw away their problem. They do have options and don't realize or understand that their options. Many even hide the fact that they are pregnant, to the point that their parents don't even know. However, you then come across adult women doing the same thing. Mostly because they don't want the responsibility and such. In my opinion, they know what causes pregnancy, they shouldn't practice it if they don't know the proper uses of protections.

We have all heard of cats been thrown into the garbage, but a baby?! What kind of mother was she who could do such an act. It's all so pathetic! I am really sorry for the baby.

sickening, isn't it? why couldn't the mother just keep her legs shut before getting pregnant or at least drop the baby off at a hospital instead of killing her?
