Has anyone tried to contact paypal through phone? How long were you able to talk to a live person? Or it took you so long to be put on hold waiting for the next available representative to answer. Was your issue resolved right then and there or you have to call back for another follow up. Please share me your experiences so atleast I have an idea because I will be conting paypal tomorrow. I just need to know how long I will wait since this will be an international call.

I think you are having some issue with PayPal. I also had one as my PayPal account access was limited and I was asked to submit identity proofs which shows my address. I submitted those documents but my account access was not revoked. I contacted them by email several times but every time I got more or less the same pre-typed replies. Then they told me that I would be able to cashout my funds after 180 days. Then after 180 days I got email that I can now withdraw my funds. But I was still not able to withdraw my funds. Then I decided to contact PayPal by phone. I also thought about ISD call charges but then suddenly I thought of Skype. It allows free calls to toll free numbers of US and UK. So I searched for PayPal's toll free number and used Skype to call them. My call was answered by a representative within few seconds but the computer generated voice menu took some time to transfer my call to representative. My issue was resolved before my call was over and I regretted why didn't I call them earlier. But I have also read a lot of negative reviews of their customer service. You should also use Skype as it is free and you can get their toll free number by searching over internet.

Thanks for the info. I didn't knew that we can contact them through Skype. I am also encountering the same problems like yours. I keep on sending them emails but all their replies are pre-generated. So now I decided that I will just call them to have better answers in resolving my issues. Paypal has been so inconvenient for me these past few weeks. A lot of transactions have been reversed and refunded without my consent and it affected my online jobs.

My account was unverified at the time problem was caused and if your account is also unverified then I would suggest you to verify your account after solving the issue. I have not encountered any problems with them till now after verifying my account. Anyway just call them to make everything clear.

Hi fellow mylotter. I am an active caller in Paypal and so far no issue with their customer service representative. Before they take you to a customer service representative, there's this girl who is automatically answering you once and ask you some details and simply answer them after that they will take you to a customer service representative. Also, once you talk to the customer service rep there are times that they will hold the call for 5 or 10 minutes to transfer you to an account specialist that knows how to solve your problem. I am from Philippines and currently my paypal issue was resolved already. Lately, I got my mom's debit card and linked it to my paypal account which really violates coz my info and mom's info mismatched. So, I set up mom a paypal account for me to link her card there and make use of it for all of my online stuffs since I can't get any card coz I am not having any valid ID's. So, when I linked it there it is limited account and I decided to resolve it right away. To resolve your limited account if you have, you need to provide the requirements asked in the resolution center, provide the address, the valid photo ID's must be scanned to present it clear during the submission of the file. Then take a screen shot of your bank statement which presents your transactions with the name and the account number. Then after you submit that you have to wait 72 hours for that to resolve. You will get a notification email that your account was resolved already or if not check your paypal account. Simply comply the requirements and your problem will be resolve. About card verification, If your card is debit, you can't use that card to verify. You need a credit card for that but you can still be able to withdraw your money. :) Hope this helps. Thanks for that. May I know what number did you use to call paypal. Is it the one listed on theior "contact us" page or the toll free number?

I haven't tried calling paypal at the moment. Its might take you less than 15 usually if your concern is not that too crucial.
