Last year a friend of mine told me to watch True Blood, and i did and i fell in love with it. Obviously when the season finished and i couldn't get my weekly fix of True Blood craziness, So i turned to the books, The Sookie Stackhouse novels written by Charlene Harris, And i read all of them in one and half weeks i was hooked and i cannot wait for charlene's next instalment and to see what happens to Sookie and Eric. The question im asking is does anyone else love true blood and the sookie stackhouse novels as much as i do? And if yes, Is there any other books like these? If you do have a few books like this please stay and leave me comment, let me know what the title and the author is called and even a little review if you can manage it :) thanks!!!

True blood. I miss it. I love the show and can't wait for it to start back up. Who is your favorite character? I like bill and Sam. My fiancé likes erik and sookie. Sorry I don't know any other books or shows quite like these.

urg! Bill infuriates me im so glad she isn't with him any more! Your fiancée has good taste Eric Northman is my favourite by far, and such a hunk to watch, sookie is one of my favourites but the screenwriters give her too many corny lines! Sookie isn't portrayed like this in the books, shes tough going and very sarcastic but she doesn't have those cheesy lines like in True Blood. Have you read the books?? or has your fiancée??

We aren't reading them because I don't want the shows to be ruined. Once you read it you'll be more inclined to judge the characters the way you have. I hate sookie, only because I think the actress who plays her is not very good. Erik seems like he may not like women if get what I'm saying. I think bill may have a dark side, I hope.

I love The Sookie Stackhouse books and the tv series too! :) I don't know of any other books like them though. Sorry. I do love anything by Dean Koontz, but his stuff is mostly horror, so I don't know if you would be interested, but he is an amazing author. :) Good luck.

I think they will show something. I am also excited. I actually like how it is different than the books because I don't know everything that will happen.

But yes True blood is fabulous, like game slayer asked which is your favourite character whether in the books or not??

MaryJanice Davidson writes the Undead series. It is a really fun series that you'll probably like. Betsy is such a funny character that I ended up laughing while I was out walk reading.

I have only caught a few of the episodes, and have not started the novels, but am definitely interested in more about the series. Mary Janice Davidson has a similar series. They are entertaining.
