I forgot the other two The Joker's names ... that newest one who tragically died, and that one from the early TV show ... It's obvious who my favorite is, how about you?

Jack Nicholson - The Joker - Awesome Actor
Jack Nicholson of curse as the others were okay but Jack truly played his role well and depicted greatly his role as the joker. Nothing has ever compared to him. As the others sort of did not have that joker smile flare. Even his regular off TV look, looks like the joker at all times.

I agree. Even though they say that Heath Ledger was a Method Actor and so 'really was' The Joker, Jack Nicholson 'really was' The Joker all his life! When they do a sequel where Batman and The Joker in the nursing-home (if they do it while we still have Nicholson), Nicholson should reprise the role. In fact, couldn't Keaton also reprise his role? Man, if only I had money!

I hear you as somethings should never change. If I had it I'd help with that too and be a number one fan of the sequel.

Hmm ... if I start writing any ideas or scenes for it, I'll send `em your way. You'll do the same, yeah?

Ah well, It's what I grew up on... I liked both Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger's performances also, for different reasons...

Yeah! (shoulda put his name in the keywords, with Heath Ledger & Jack Nicholson) I don't think I've seen his performance there since childhood, but that Batman was a little too close to 'Sunday comics' for me ("Whack!" "Bam!" "Bloof!" etc.) ... didn't really enlighten one to the deep psychology behind the psychoses

I guess that one was my favorite too. He was a very creepy "joker" and I think that fit the character better than the lighter more joking type characters of the past.

Yeah, Ledger played the joker "deranged"; Nicholson played it more like 'the person who the joker really was,' just a guy trying to make his way in the world of crime etc.
