ha! ha! ha! TOEFL is still being used to test the proficiency english of a student nowadays. From my understand, you can get a lot of TOEFL practicing kits in the market. Some Universities in the United States do ONLY accept the TOEFL results if the foreign students are tested within their campus. They will arrange the TOEFL test once you report to their Universities. Failing in the TOEFL examination, the the relevant students have to attend the English proficiency Class in the campus. Besides buying the TOEFL practicing kits, you can go online to access most of the American's news reporting channels to practicing yourself. Good Luck to you.

ha! ha! ha! I sat for my TOEFL in about 25 years ago. I am worrying to provide you a misleading information. Nowadays, the communication system is so advance, you can search online or consult the American Educational Exchange Center if there is any at your place for further advise.

hi do what you are doing now, making discussions, and posting responses and comments to responses on your discussions as you will pick up more and more in your use of English and learn our idioms and our expressions here. Also pay more attention to tenses and if you have an English grammar book really study it. One clue for you and I am not criticizing at all. your first sentence I will participate in the TOEFL test recently does not go with I will, soon or in a few days will go with I will participate.... So please do not be hurt as I think you are doing terrifically well. If I tried to write in your native language I am sure I would flunk out big time. I hope my hints will help you to make a really great score on your TOEFL test. If you do not have a English grammar book buy one or borrow one from your public library. good luck and God Bless. Also grateful to you not for you. take care and keep up the good posting auyuelin. hugs from hatley.

Hi! I know that the TOEFL test is a BIG deal! I think the most important thing is to relax and to have nothing else in your mind! Maybe you want some tips on the answers, but if you are too worried, it will affect the test, I've seen many friends that do know English very well, having average scores because they got really nervous! So relax, it is actually pretty easy! If possible, seat nearest to the recorder or whatever in the first sections of the exam so you can easily hear. I don't know about now, but when I made it, the accent of the people talking where like people from England, so you can rent a movie with actors of that country to become more familiar with the accent! I think that you should go with the answer that "sounds more correctly" for you, instead of trying to remember a lot of grammar rules in a second! Last tip: you should read the stories completely before you see the questions in reading and comprehension, so you can get the idea more clearly and then go on with the questions and go back to the reading and so on! Good luck and let us know how you did!!!
