Sometimes I do that, and even if forced, but saliva contains an antiseptic substance that can block infection.

hi, i think its only applicable in the animal, and not to people, like dog, they can heal wounds of their body.

my mom used to do this when i was a kid,, i can't see how saliva heal wounds,, but it made me feel that i was healed,,

I think you are more likely to get an infection. The mouth is a dirty place.
