what a fool. i was cheated!

January 11, 2011 9:17pm CST
i was about to enter the gate of our community yestarday afternoon. suddenly a guy in a BMW yelling at me and i went forwoard. it turned out he was a gentle guy and asked me to borrow my cellphone. he said he just came back from abroad and his phone was not available. so i gave him mine and i claimed him to get out of the car. but he suddenly got into the car in the middle. he explained he can't hear clearly outside. then he drove away unexpected. i couldn't catch up with him then my phone was just gone. i was so careless and i easily trusted the others. what i learned is we can't just judge a person by the outfit and first impression. we should observe the others carefully first. remain sober-minded.

What a jacka$$ so, he has the money to be driving a BMW but he has no money to have his own cellphone, yeah, right his cellphone was not working my a$$. You know, you are lucky to be alive, what if he forced you to get into his car, this is why I never like to approached nor help strangers. Sometimes being a good Samaritan means putting your life in danger or in your case having something stolen from you. What comes around goes around.

He tried all the help you have to apologize for any inconvenience and he betrayed you in this way. Someday you and your loved ones, or he does not go through a situation, he betrayed a great personality, or the wrong people get hurt and you can just remember the following.

HI Miniheven, That's horrible! You can help people out and still keep yourself safe and covered. I hope you will learn from this. I had to learn the hard way too. I hope you get your car and your phone back. Sorry this happened to you but I know you will learn from it. Sounds as if you already have.

miniheven, This is a crime and I hope you have reported this to the local police where hopefully you would have the car's license number and your cellphone's IMEI number which could aid in the arrest and recovery of your phone. The latter could also help blacklist the phone with your local cellular phone network service providers, rendering it useless to anyone who has your phone. Not forgetting that it could aid law enforcement in tracing your phone and perpetrator. Next time, just be more careful and if possible ask for the car's ignition keys before handing your cellphone over. Take care.

Hi. miniheven. Welcome to myLot! That is why I don't always let other people use my cell phone nor my house phone. Many people know that when you let them use your phone, they know that you are not going to sit and watch them use it either. They know that for the sake of their own privacy, you will eventually turn and walk away. This gives them a chance to just walk and run off with your phone! Do you by chance have a tracking device into your cell phone? Because this is a great way to catch the thief that stole your cell phone. I am sorry that this has happened to you too.

Sorry to hear that. You should ignore that guy right. Anyway, it is a lesson you learn, whether you should be nice to him or not, it is your choice. You had done nothing wrong anyway. Maybe you are just too nice, but don't worry about it. Someday, he will be punished.

I hope that you called your cell phone company and had them turn your phone off and report it missing. You can never trust anyone now a days. I would never give my phone or anything to a complete stranger. Hopefully you learned from this and will never do that again.

Oh my this is awful, I hope you called your cell phone company and report along with the police. As you just never know if this is a habitual habit and someone along the line of being robbed could be hurt. I am sorry to hear that all you did was try to help and he betrayed you in this way. Maybe one day he and or someone he loves does not go through a similar situation and he can remember right then it is wrong to hurt and or betray a good natured person.

Sorry to hear that. People nowadays do surprise you. I hope you will get your phone back with the SIM card still in it but I doubt it. As for the robber, bad karma is on his way. It won't let him go on with his life guilt-free.

This is unbelievable! I am truly sorry for your inconvenience. What kind of complete loser would steal a persons phone right in front of them? I hope you were able to remember the license plate. Also bmw's are a joke in the united states. The extremely poor native Americans that live on reservations drive them with their government checks. We laugh every time we see one because we know our tax money when to good use.
