Honesty 'WAS' the best policy...?

I think the proverb HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY will be wrong in this world instead of saying this the best proverb THAT WILL REFLECT THE WORLD IS 'honesty WAS the best policy' as if one person doing his work with sincerity or honest i think he never achieve his dream...What you think about this friends..?

Hi siliguri, well all will say honesty is the best policy. But i have a doubt in this present era can you show me anyone is having this kind of personality? No where and in no one. If we think he or she is having honesty that itself shows our incapability. This is only upto our class or to teach to someone. 
But you know there are people who are honest? Our ants, dogs, cats etc.

Hi siliguri, yes dear, i will try to be honest all the time, i will not fear for anything expect god so no question of dishonesty, if i do that by any chance may be good for that person and blame myself for the same.

Honesty is the best policy, is the old saying, things have changed, so we have to add more like, intelligence, sense of humor, cleverness etc to it, during my tenure of several years as principal in colleges, i appointed many persons, i had to take into account all these..

Well, truthfully I think that Honesty is always the Best policy and the only way in life to truly get ahead. When you are dishonest with your fellowman and others you are being dishonest to yourself and I feel in time you will get caught and even if you were ahead, this could be a huge setback for sure. Personally when you tell the truth you don't have to remember what you told one person to only keep on covering for something and in the end people really see you for who you really are.

I think you are right because nowadays people tend to LIE for money :(
Thats why Honesty "Was" the best policy is more appropriate nowdays :(
Sometimes people told others Honesty is the best polic. But we need CASH. LOL! what a pain in the a**! hehe :)
But still honesty is still the best policy :)

i also think that honesty is the best policy..the man who is honest ,,,is smiled by god.honest man create a good characterics in world."honesty was the best policy"it is the wrong sentence.besides i tell honesty will be the best policy.honesty is proved by the man good systemic chacractr.si every must be honest
