yes! i have experienced it. i love shopping before marrage my sisters and mom used to shop so much and they liked it.. but my dad used to hate. after marriage now even my husband hates to come with me for shopping. he forces himself to enjoy the shopping because of me. and when i ask him he says i hate shopping. is it because of money or really they hate shopping i dont understand. can some one tell how? Thanks for the reply...:-)

Most men don't want to tag along with us ladies if we're buying just for ourselves. Let them shop for their things too. And like us, them will also scan the entire area for the perfect item. My husband sometimes annoys me when we shop for his shoes because we seem to have scanned the entire store and we keep going back and forth. Then it's his turn to get annoyed when it's my turn. But sometimes he even helps me pick up things to buy.

That's great. and hope my husband support me like that. once when i asked him to come with me for shopping he said i will take a week leave and come for shopping with you. and make you shop all the week until you hate shopping. so i just stopped asking him to go around.

Yeah, I agree with that. My bf hate it when I do shopping and stop by every store or item that looks great to me. He hates walking a lot and he hates the crowd.

yes, i like shopping too. . .if. given a lot of money to spend. LOL Girls are generally shopaholics, specially those that have credit cards. They tend to buy a lot of things such as bags, clothes and shoes. Thank God i am not that anymore. LOL i have changed . . .LOL But boys really don't have the penchant for shopping. One reason maybe, is they don't have that much money to spend. Second, they hate tagging along or waiting for you to be able to choose what you are going to buy. So, i shop alone. I don't want to bring along my husband who complains of having to walk a lot around the department store just to be able to see all the displays. LOL

I dont think so, i think men also like shopping but they dont like to go for shopping with women because women do their shopping very deep way means check everything before buying. do barganing with shopkeepers and men are irritating from thiese things so they dont like to go with wife or sisters but they like to go with friends or alone.

I don't know, it all depends on the situation doesn't it. I've a few male friend who spend hours in a shop just browsing. I think the difference is that females tend to shop for other people as well as themselves and so turn the whole business into something they'll enjoy and hey, why not, if you have to do it 3 times a week for the rest of your life you may as well enjoy it. Men on the other hand, tend to shop for themselves and maybe for presents if they feel guilted into it. So of course they'll get grumpy if they have to spend hours doing something that in no way affects them. They don't shop for food, someone will, or they get take out. Have you gone with your husband to get him something he wants and thats it? I took my partner out to buy a new tv and it took 3 hours. 3 hours of walking from store to store until he'd decided on the particular make and size he wanted. I was bored out of my mind! Talk about role reversal.

Why ONLY women, men are equally fond of shopping? Most of the Sundays i go mall with my wife, because she prepares the shopping list, we buy together selecting things and bargaing, when she goes with daugher in laws, usually over spends.. Thank you so much for this post. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. . HAPPY MAKAR SANKRANTI, Happy PONGAL
