There's no exception in crying. That's a normal thing to do, even guys cry. But why? Me i cried for reasons, when i'm sad, depressed and happy. It's so much better to let your emotions burst out than to keep what you felt inside. Keeping emotions in your heart can't do you any good, in fact there's a risk in having heart problems related to stress and depression. If you are a guy, are you ashamed to say that you also cried? Or why do you cry?

I am an odd one, I hardly ever cry. Now there are times when I am very emotional and a tear comes to my eye. But to sit and cry about something I just don't do. ACtually if I feel it coming up inside me I get mad and won't let it. Why? Because after I am done crying ... absolutely nothing has changed.. so why waste my time!?

When my daughter lost her first tooth she started crying because she was so excited. She looked at me with the tears in her eyes and asked, "mommy, why am I crying when I am happy?" I told her we have this little cup that holds emotions and when it gets full whether it's good or bad it runs out our eyes!

hi macdingolinger, Crying is a form of expressing your emotions. When we cry, our brain send out the signals to our eye glances also triggers the glance to secrate tears to clean the eyes and impurities. It's healthy in a way. Holding back certain things in life is tougher than crying it out loud to someone, or by ourself. Crying is not a serious issue anyway.

Well, if im a guy im not ashamed to said tat i cried, coz its our emotional feelings, And its gd to cry out just to let out any stress or unhappiness tat we are facing. Im a gal which could cry out very esaly. When im watching tv and i saw certain screens tat are very touching, sad or even very pityful moments, my tears will automatically roll down my cheeks n my nose will feel very sour. So i found tat even when guyz cried, its not a shameful thing at all, juz keep in mind tat every humans in this planet have emotions n feelings too and crying out loud is the best medthod.

I am a guy, and I do cry. Who doesn't? If you read the bible, do you know the shorted sentence? It is "Jesus wept." I think I ever heard that "Man is the only creature to cry from emotions." So devilishgal, you are spot on. It's good to cry when one is sad or stressed because I do that too. Cheers!

crying is a natural occurrence. There's nothing to be ashamed of, people were created with the fact that we cold shed tears for a reason. It's because we can feel emotions either when we're in shock of something or it could be tears of joy. It's never good to bottle things up because it could be a cause of several diseases.

I agree with you- crying is normal for both genders and can be caused by anything-- sad moments, really happy moments and even funny moments.. It's definitely not good t keep emotions inside, just let them all out or you'll burst.

I've met people that claim they don't cry, mostly male. I just can't believe this, I feel that people who will not cry for anything (not even alone) are emotionless, perhaps cruel. I cry when I'm sad or angry and I can't remember if I've ever cried because of joy. Tears are to me a sign of being human and compassionate and people that can't cry are people I don't really want around me.

Hi, I do cry when I am hurt. Crying comes naturally. Not all people cry. For those whom it comes naturally, cries when they get hurt. Sometimes, when we are hurt, we supress our feeligns but others can see tears in our eyes. Eyes never lie. It's the feeling that makes a person cry. be it a happy feeling or a sad feeling. It's the expression of feeling i can say whether you cry when alone or in front of someone. For some people, crying helps them to calm down.

Crying is a form of expression. I'm not ashamed to cry. Like they said, "a man can cry but should not make a woman cry". There's nothing to be ashamed of in crying when you're a man.
