We should be able to edit the post, what is the harm?

Hi Friends,
I just postted a discussion and because of some typing error the word in the subject of the discussion became "Bot" instead of "Not". I am not feeling good about it and may be reading the subject of the discussion members will not reposnd to the same and discussion may get 0 response.
I think MyLot should provide edit facility for the discussion owners. I want to edit the discussion subject and correct my mistake but not able to do so.
What do you say about it?

I wouldn't mind being able to edit my post. sometimes i don't think of something i might want to say until it is too late. There is no way for me to change something once it is posted.@AjaySinghBaghel (5506)

yes, there is no way to change the post. MyLot can impose some restriction while giving this feature but it should be given.

I agree. I didn't intend to make such errors and editing is not a crime so I really wanted to edit my post sometimes. Mylot should be more practical at these time , no one is perfect and we all know that. Correcting errors or editing post should be allowed so that the one who post can avoid humiliation about wrong grammar or with bad english. I really agree with you, I hope Mylot would do something about it!

Yes, recently I posted a discussion and it was supposed to be posted as "Good" but it was posted as "Food" which is an error and I should be able to edit and repost that.
I am still hopeful that MyLot will look into it and do some changes.

We can edit before we submit. In fact, before computers we thought and took care about what we would type as it was a mess to clean it and sometimes you had to type the whole page again. We have grown lazy.
We should write or posts or answers and take the time to read them and edit. We don´t do it. Neither we save and backup what we do and we lose a lot of work when the computer goes beserk.
Maybe WE should mend our ways

This is a workaround. It's not something not available, we already have these features in most of the editors and does not require much to do. MyLot can provide this with minimal effort.

Hi Ajay Singh Baghel: Same has happened to me and it doesn't feel good. I think that an edit option will be a good help for us, specially for those that commit these mistakes because we post our answers and after that we have notice that we've made a mistake.

It will definitely help all the members. No one is perfect and can make mistakes so we should be given chance to corrct the mistake. may be just one time per post.

Who cares you wrote the wrong word/s since as long as someone understand what you are talking about, but about the edit facility I think it doesn't hurt Mylot either by the way you just did it once more "reposnd" it should be respond you should try auto word correction on your system

I do not see any harm if MyLot provide that feature however we can always try not to do mistakes. It would be always better to have spell check in MyLot.
