I'm a first time mom to an eight months old baby. Since I'm working, I tend to observe every move, development, action and reaction of my baby when I have the time to be with her. I noticed that when she needs to be fed or is asking for a bottle she would make "ahmmm" "uhmmm" "mmmmam" sounds or something like that. I have read that babies have common cries when they need something. I'm just wondering if the sounds made by my baby are the same with other baby. Do you have a baby of the same age? Does he or she tend to make the same sound like what my baby makes when he or she is hungry?

Yeah. That is normal Zeciram. Actually, it is the first stage for your baby when she is learning how to speak. It is good that you put full attention to her when she needs it. You are a good mom. Continue guiding her and after few more months, you will here more sounds other than ahmmm, ummmm mmmmam.

You are welcome Zeciram. Wow! That's great. It is the best time for you because you see the milestones of your baby. I remember my brothers and sisters when they were just babies. I saw them learn how to talk, how to walk and grow. It placed many smiles on my lips.

Thank you for appreciating me as a good mom! I do not hear it that much... Actually, my baby can now say mommy. She shouts mommy when I come home from work and crawls excitedly towards me. I love her so much!

Congrats for your baby!!! I have 8 month baby boy, when the baby see the bottle of milk he get very excited and move his hands and legs and when you close the bottle to the mouth he open it. It is so cute to see it. Sometimes he cry a lot but when the began to eat they look like a angel.

Congrats also! My baby girl acts the same way. She's funnier when she's younger. When I already placed the bib in her chest preparing her for feeding even if she does not see the bottle yet she would open her mouth only wide enough for the nipple to come through. They are so adorable! Glad that I have someone to share my experiences with my baby with. Thanks!

Congratulations on your baby. I still don't have a baby. I'd like to stay single for a while and just explore all the girls that I can come in contact with. Girls are interesting. Sometimes they can be inspiring, sometimes they can be dull but all in all, they're naturally loving and caring. I've met and dated so many girls before and these traits have been consistent from all of them.

Thanks JohnMach! I hope, that when you are ready to settle down, you find a loving and caring girl who can bring out the best in you. But also remember that love is not always enough to get a relationship going. Understanding and open communication are the key. Good luck! Take care...
