Content Caboodle

I have just four articles in Content Caboodle, a paid article directory. These four articles are duplicates. I have posted the four articles to Triond, and other websites before submitting to Content Caboodle. As such I do not really expect the article to do very well. I am very surprised when I check out my account profile. These four articles have attracted more than 350 page views. Content Caboodle pays by page views, at the rate of $3 per 1,000 page views. The minimum payout if $3, directly to Paypal account. I think I will upload a few more duplicate content to that website. There is no harm in uploading more duplicate content, since the original articles were in Triond. It seems that the duplicate content in Content Caboodle is doing better than the same content in Triond. The only thing i do not like about this website is the long wait for moderation. The articles are human moderated. Has anyone tried out Content Caboodle and get paid?

Maybe I should try it as well? Afterall, I do't have many articles to begin with. I should congratulate you on the surprise "catch". When you mentioned "duplicate content", do you mean verbatim as what is in Triond? If so, I might just try. Any advice?

Hi Tiffnkeat, that is what I meant. I do not bother to change a single word at all. Just copy and paste everything. I find that some articles that do not do well in Triond perform very well in other websites. I think one reason is due to the inner link within the content site. You will notice that all websites have a side bar or some linking methods for you to read related articles. That is the power of having effective internal links.

I will send one in and see how long it takes to publish. For Triond, it is like almost immediate. Hmm...maybe I should really talk to you on all these stuff sometime over coffee (my treat). You have been most helpful, my friend.

Hi Tiffnkeat, all these knowledge come from nearly two years of article writing online. Helium is my first writing site. I stopped writing there long ago. I had more than 300 articles, mainly book reviews over there. I still receive passive income from the existing articles. The income is quite stable, at an average rate of US$25 per month. That time I was posting the content to Associated Content too. I posted it as duplicate since I did not bother to change a single word. Associated Content paid me a monthly passive income of ten dollars as well. It had a policy change last year, and stopped payment for international writers who did not sign on as a feature writer. So I was forced to join Triond, and wrote enough to generate a passive income of ten dollars there. Content Caboodle happens to accept duplicate content, as long as you are the rightful owner. It is important that you use the same user name everywhere, so they do not think you copy the work of other people.

Sounds like an interesting place. Do you benefit if we join under you or should we just locate the website and join?

Hi 1hopefulman, the site really takes a long time to review the articles. So far my five published articles get a total of six hundred page views. Once it reaches the mark of 1,000th page view, I can get the minimum payout of three dollars. Looks impossible if the site does not publish one or two more articles. Quite hard for five articles, especially duplicate content, to get a thousand page views.

I have never heard of this website, but it sounds as if you are doing really well. I hope you continue to do so.

Hi GardenGerty, my articles in this website have done surprisingly well. I have an article approved just hours ago, and the page views has reached 70. It is very surprising since that article had been published in a number of websites. It is not even written with enough seo techniques to attract readers from search engines.

This is a wonderful post--thank you so much for sharing such great tips! I have had some success with Triond, and have started writing for Helium, but their many rules, categories, and such are very confusing to someone like me who has just started online writing. I will try Content Caboodle too, using one of my already-published articles. Hope to see you there!

In the end, that's probably why the site generates more income than Triond; with that level of scrutiny, it ensures that the articles are quality and probably draws more readers. Thanks again so much.

Hi Mahreen, I have no idea how long it takes to edit and publish an article over there. I joined at the busiest time. At that time, they simply did not have enough manpower to manually edit so many articles. Since then, they have hired a few more editors. I hope that the editing time is shorter.
