Making a living out of mylot-is this possible?

I was wondering if it is possible for somebody to make a living from this website? I think the minimum monthly earnings should be at least 300 dollars or so in our country to be able to make a sort of living from this site. I say 300, because the minimum wage is around 200 dollars, so this would be a bit more. So my question is if this is possible and how? I think only with lots of very active referrals and a lot of time spent per day here. Otherwise, I don't really think so. What about you? what do you feel about this?

I doubt it, friend. I couln´t even pay for much of my bills, the way I like to live. But as I am frugal and make ends meet using my money for living, I can use all my online earnings for vacations and travel. Where I live noone earns so little as 200 dollars. My house would cost me around $800 or $900 if it wasn´t mine. That to begin with. I could live with $800 though, but in a neighborhood that has nothing to do with what I´m acostumed to. So I think it´s not possible. At least not for someone like me. Take care!

Good for you, marguicha. In our country a monthly salary of 1000 dollars is considered to be a great one. Only the lucky ones earn so much a month. Of course, that would be good, but not the best. For living a lavish life, we would need a lot more than that. But you agree with me that it would be nice to earn around 300 dollars per month only from here.

I live in Chile, South America. As I live in the capital and in a nice neighborhood, housing is expensive. Workers with no special training earn here about US$600 a month. I live well but don´t live a lavish life except for the house that is mine and won´t sell it unless absolutly necesary ..

Gosh my mortgage alone was $2,200 and my car note was $365.00. The rent for our tiny apartment now is $1000. So no way on earth would I be able to pay for anything with $300, let alone $200. Internet alone is $60 and I have no other choice in the building I live in for a cheaper rate. No one could buy any basic means with that type of earning alone. I can't even vacation with that little amount. It would not be possible for one person alone to make that much in a month on myLot, as for referrals I do not know anyone like me who would invest much more time then me on here and I am no where near that amount on myLot. Has to be nice to be able to dream.

How can a rent for an apartment to be 1000 dollars per month? This is huge, I always thought that a salary in the USA is around 1500-2000 dollars per month. As for Internet, in our country is around 10 dollars per month, which I think is pretty cheap compared to other countries. As for our country and the minimum wage, it is not sufficient for having a decent life, everybody has to do something else to improve the monthly income, but the government doesn't care at all.

In my country internet is a lot more expensive than that. And I could not afford this house if it wasn´t paid for, but my husband paid it totally before dying. I pay about $90 a month for phone, internet and a "light" cable TV that doesn´t have all the channels. It´s the best I could do.
• United States
16 Jan 11
Hi marguicha, Is that amount for all three? As here the average "light" cable would be about $50, landline phone about another $40, which does not include long distance and here long distance is just 15 miles away, then there is the internet fee. On an average all three for average "light" service would be about $180, with no premium services. Doesn't it seem like no matter how much we cut corners for basic services they get us in other areas. (Sad), as it is as if we have to juggle the little money versus all the charges monthly. Many blessings to you for having your house paid for as that certainly is one load off a person's back. @rappeter13, the cheapest in some areas here would be about $25 and the speed is very low, they will add higher speeds for another $30. As for us no other service other then Comcast is allowed so we have no choice if we want the Net for the $60.

I can see that you have many posts here. May I ask you how much do you spend here a day, how many active referrals do you have and how much money do you make from here per day or month?

Probably you could earn more if you could make some tasks. I confess that I don´t know how to do it. But still, there are few countries tghat can live on little money.

I don´t do tasks for that reason, but then English is not my native language.
• Romania

Yes, I agree, tasks could seriously increase the income, but many of them are too ambiguous and hard to understand what is to be done. As for discussions and responses, we would need more than 1000 per day I believe.

Just to let you know, this discussion may be deleted, because we don't discuss earnings in here as it is a direct violation of the terms. I think you need to read the faq's and guidelines before you post anything so you know what you can and can't post in here. Just for the sake of discussion, there is no way possible you will be able to make that kind of money in here, even if you post all day and all night No oen knows what we earn as it is all a secret and mylot doesn't want us to know how they figure the earnings, as if they did, they would tell us. I think, that you will be very disappointed, when you don't make the money in here you want, as it just won't happen. You won't make all that much, but it does add up over time. the minimum payout in here is only $10, and the maximum is $100, but that is only per month, and if you don't make that much, then you have to wait until you do make it to get paid. You only get paid if you make the minimum within the month from the beginning to the end of the month. You will never make enough in here to live on without doing other things along with it. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

This post has a lot of threads that lead as to how expensive is the cost of living in different countries. I would send a port to Go ak Alice to recheck it, if it got deleted. I don´t feel it is the typical "how much do you earn at mylot" bit and I´m sure other mylotters think the same. As it is, it has not been deleted and we have all learned a lot about our countries.

I know that there are guidelines, but I keep forgetting them, but I thought of making this discussion with the hope it won't be deleted. As for how the payout minimum works, I knew that, because I was paid once by Mylot, so I know. As for making a living from here, I was just curious if somebody really had luck and made lots of money from here. I am not making so much, so I wanted to know if there are lucky people around. But judging from the answers, there aren't.

No, I don't think it is possible, and I don't think it is the purpose of MyLot either. You can make some extra cash here though, while having fun, which is not too shabby either...

Maybe it is not the main purpose of Mylot, but it wouldn't be great? Having fun and earning a lot from that? I think that we could find a market where Mylot is not so popular and make there a lot of referrals. As far as I know, there is no limit to the referrals we can get.

earning $300 a month would be a fair amount to a person from my country (or Asia).I am afraid that we can't make that much all alone here.it is possible if one has around 100 active referrals earning each of them around 50 cent a day.

I am not sure if mylot has changed percentage from referral earning..It was something around 25%..if a referral makes around 50 cent a day we earn around 12.5..on a average 0.12 x100 = $12 a day..$360 a month..we could make 250 a month..if all our 100's referral reach $10 a month.Its pretty hard to get active referrals.
• Romania

10 cents per day from each referral would suffice to earn 300 dollars per month. With 50 cents would be 50x100x30=15000cents per month, which means 1500 dollars. This would be amazing, but I am afraid this is impossible.

Honestly i don't think anybody can make a living here. Except you have 5000 active referrals that post daily, which of course i doubt. Is there anybody on here that have made $100 monthly without any refarral?
• Romania
17 Jan 11
I don't think so. But I guess this is the key for every site like this, having lots of active, direct referrals.Sort of a MLM.
• India
17 Jan 11
Yes nothing is impossible You can make 300 $ from Mylot by just having 333 active and direct referrals under your down line with an average daily earning around 12 cents. This will take time. But the income will be passive. Try referring others and best of luck for your future

You made a nice calculation here. Maybe I will find some people who would be glad to be my referrals and be active. We could never know.

No, i think it is not possible to earn $300 from mylot or it is vary hard and very much time consuming, if you online here all day and make $300 in a month from also your refferals,i think if you do another job for whole day you can earn more than $300. so its better to work offline or do any job for money than in mylot.

It is impossible for me to make money from this website. It sounds as if it is Arabian Nights.English is not my mother tongue,my English is still not up to write on it fluently.Otherwise, frequently something is wrong with my poor computer ,so I only place a few of posting on it.

It doesn't matter a lot if you are not so well at English. But if you give your best, you could add up some money and maybe in time will be a decent amount.

Yes, but as long as somebody doesn't have a job, this could be a great income. The higher the better, I would say.

Current I don't think so. Maybe one day in the future. You would have to think about the cost of living with includes, bills, cloths, groceries, pocket money etc. Not even $300 could cover that. It would take between $800-$1000 a month for this to be possible. So lets just wait and see. I'm sure as mylot population grow more things will come about.
• Romania
17 Jan 11
Yes, that amount of money would be very good. I earn only a small fraction of that per month, but we can always dream and make thoughts and search about opportunities. I have heard that online casinos can be a sure source of great daily income, using the Martingale strategy, but we need a higher starting amount.

greetings! i think that's a very interesting question since i'm new to this site. although i didn't sign up to make a living out of this site, and a friend just recommended this site to me. i find the discussions interesting. i don't even know how one can earn from this site, LOL.

You earn for your participation, which means: respond to other discussions, make discussions, comment the responses, upload photos which have something to do with the discussions, use the search button till you get a rewarded. I get a reward for that every 2-3 days. And you can do some tasks as well.

For me MyLot, and my other sites provide only a bit of extra spending money. It is not intended to be a living wage. In some very poor countries the earnings might seem significant, but for most of us, this is just a little extra.
• Romania
17 Jan 11
Yeah, this may be the case of majority of people, but maybe we could make a lot more from this sites. Everything that comes is good, but if the amount which we make is higher, than it is great.

If you are referring to Mylot earnings I think it's not possible at all to earn at around $300 per month let alone $200. You got to spend a lot of times here in Mylot posting and discussing interesting topics. Maybe $60 per month is possible and that is with out referrals. If maybe you can have 100 active referrals and all those posting everyday then it might be possible. To be sure you can't live with Mylot's earnings for one month. Time is too long for the effort. There even sometimes that your post will get deleted and some of the post you responded with will also get deleted. So it's a bit impossible to make a living out of Mylot's earnings.

Everybody has the same opinion as I see. I would be very glad to earn around 100 dollars per month as well. Maybe only the lucky users from onbux, neobux and those who understand ANNO1777 well can make real living from this sites.

I hate to be a naysayer but I don't really think it's possible to earn that much. I think you would have to post several hundred posts every single day which nobody could do day after day. If you are counting on getting a bunch of active referrals, that's not likely to happen either. To get 100 active referrals, you would have to recruit several thousand people because only a very small percentage of referrals actually stay active. MyLot is a great site but you are not going to make a full time living with it.
• Romania
17 Jan 11
I know that you are right, cause I know what do you do and that you have made yourself lots of referrals and the majority of them haven't stayed active. But it is always good to make thoughts about ways of making money, maybe one time we will find an extraordinary opportunity which would make us live like kings for the rest of our lives.

I don't think so. Not unless you have several hundreds of active referrals but It's just impossible to do it on your own. Even if you post several hundreds of discussions a day and commenting back, there's always the likelihood of running our of ideas and especially boredom and burn out.
• Romania
17 Jan 11
Yes, this is the main problem: we run out of ideas and don't know what to write anymore. But if it would bring me around 10 dollars a day or more I would spend a lot of time here.

The way i look at all this is if you can put the money you make from this aside kinda keep it for a rainy day fund. Just put it back then look at some of the other options for making money online. You will find that most that make GOOD money from the net recives atleast 5 to 20 checks a month from multiple sites. Very few will make a good living at just one site...Atleast that is mytocents
• Romania
17 Jan 11
You have a point here, I am using several sites as well, but I am not satisfied with the amount I make per month. I would like much more, because I could really use it. Maybe it will never be for a good living, but maybe it will be a great extra, which could make the difference.
