Things are really getting me down. I'm not happy with the things that are happening in my life. Ya I'm getting my life together, but just don't want the same things that my boyfriend wants. I want to get the bills on my credit report paid off so I can improve my credit score. So that I can get a good car and make payments on it. and hopefully get a better looking home.

Sometimes life can be empty even though we seem to have it all together. Have you looked at your spiritual life? When there is something missing in life, it is usually that. If you think about it, when we leave this earth what do we have? Credit cards? A job? Money? A car? A career? I've never seen a hearse with a trailer behind it. One needs to balance our physical world with our spiritual beliefs, whatever they may be. Then one can find peace and harmony in this world and be living in the world but not a part of it. It is also important to look after your physical and mental well being. It might be a good idea to chat to a therapist and maybe a psychiatrist. You might need medication to help you. Well, it is worth a try! Good luck

I agree. Most of us have experience of depression and there always are times we can't find the meaning of life. Then at this time, we should ask what we really want. Try to find the good sides of the life, love, friends, kids, parents, we are not alone. We are not living for ourselves.

Yes, I totally agree. There are so many ways to finding meaning in life. A spiritual life is extremely important. Not only because it brings us happiness, but it also brings us peace. I think we need to think outside of ourselves and find ways and opportunities to help other people - whether it is through charity work or some other volunteer work. Everyone needs help in one way or another.

It sounds like you actually are improving your life - obviously there will be setbacks, but so long as you keep trying, something should work out. It's hard when you aren't on the same page as your boyfriend - is it that he doesn't want to get out of debt?

He says he isn't worried about getting out of debt. He just thinks that sooner or later it will come off his credit report. I'm just tried of having bad credit and I just want to improve mine. Because I want something better out of life.

If that's what you want then just do it. It's not something that really concerns your boyfriend right now and if it did, it's for the positive. If he's planning on spending a long time with you, a good credit report is to his own advantage. So keep things positive and live your life happy.

Sometimes we must make changes in our life to make it better. Maybe your goals and his are not the same any more. If that is the case, maybe talk to him and try to work things out. Perhaps you need a different medicine to help you cope too. It helps to talk to a trained professional. I also take medicine for depression and had to get out of a relationship where he was just too different from me.
