The utter darkness of mistakes.

Thats where I feel I am most of the time, The mistakes I've made in my life are past the part of just being stupid ,its beyond that. As a teen i thought i was doing everything right. But i was wrong, the mistake was what i thought was right. And it got me into a whole lot of trouble. If you have family telling you that what your doing is wrong? If so... listen. They wouldn't be telling you if it weren't true. Tell me of your mistakes and be rid of it for good, take the time and listen to your soul get it off your chest. Make no more mistakes. Also this may not be for everyone but if you can answer I'd be much obliged. Have any of you ever thought of; going back, taking back what was taken. Has it ever crossed your mind that if you would have listened to who ever was telling you it was a bad idea. Would you listen now . Listen to the people around you ....it will save you life.

It's alright to listen to what others say and heed their advice especially if they've been down that road before. As a teenager, you are bound to make mistakes 'cause it's the time for you to learn from new experiences, but it shouldn't be an excuse for you to make more mistakes just because you are young. Take risks, listen to some people's advice, stop and reflect once in a while about your progress, learn from your own mistakes and learn from other people's mistakes as well. One more thing, choose friends wisely. Good luck!

We have all made mistakes in our life. No one is perfect. I think it is important to make mistakes in life because that is how we learn and it is also how we can relate to others and understand them as well. Sure I wish I could go back and undo one of my biggest mistakes which was getting in to credit card debt when I first got married. The good thing is I learned from that and I tried really hard to fix it and with my husband's help and a few relatives we managed to get it all taken care of and fixed. I learned from that mistake and I am much better with money now. I think we should not torture ourselves over our mistakes as I think that the measure of a person is how they fix those mistakes and what they do from then on. If you live your life making up for your mistakes that makes you a good person. If however you continue to make the same ones and hurt yourself and others then it is time to seriously check yourself.

sometimes mistake can be unavoidable especially when it comes to love.. sometimes you will know it is a mistake but you do it anyway..maybe the only thing to make you back out is to imagine ahead how horrible will the consequences of your mistakes be.. but simple mistakes can be fun to especially if it means that you and somebody else will gain from it

Making mistakes is a part of growing up, so don't be too hard on yourself. The point now is that you know and you will do better from now on. When later you have children you can pass on your experience to them so they would know that you had gone hat path before and it was a mistake - hoping they would not do the same. I made several mistakes too and some affect my life at present. I don't regret it too much, I just do what to do now to make it better if not superb. Make piece with yourself.

I think everybody living make mistake at some point of time or the other. I don't think anybody will deny it. Thats what exactly has happened with you too. But, then most of us don't really learn from our mistakes. But, you have managed to realize you mistake and you want to listen to others and make yourself right! Thats really a great thing. Kudos to you! Hope you learn a lot from life and stop regretting for what you have done in the past. You can't kill your future thinking on the past. Leave back the regrets and take only the lesson from the mistake and move on. You will go way further in your life. Good luck!

Committing mistakes happen and that is natural but most of the time mistakes happen because people think they are wise enough and do not need advice of others. Also some commit mistakes because they don't think first before doing something. Some commit mistakes because nobody cared to help them decide better. Whatever is the reason for the mistake, we should always learn from our own mistakes. If we never learn from our mistakes then what does that make of u?
