India was once looked down upon by the developed countries for her poverty. But now she is respected by all others as a most powerful country in the world. Can you guess how this transformation took place?

Congratulation to India! It's good. But I guess that still many problems to solve in your country, so India must try more and more. I also wish the best things will go to other country in over world.

You are right. In spite of such progress, there is lot of poverty, illiteracy, communal disharmony and so on. But I hope all these problems will be solved one by one because India is the biggest democratic country in the world.

Hello doctordidi, You are right, India was looked down upon once upon a time. But it was just a dark phase of out history. But, if you go back deep down the history of India, I don't think there was any other country richer than us! There were days when diamonds and precious pearls were sold on the streets of our country. looking at this richness only the foreigners invaded India. They took it all from us leaving nothing for us! Well, thats history. But then, we never gave up. We worked hard to get our good times back. No matter what others did, we all stood united and today we are growing up. Hope we will get back to how we were one day in the future! We all have the faith on us and god! Cheers! Happy Mylotting!

I don't think India is most powerful country right now. It is still developing. We have to overcome many issues like poverty, illiteracy, corruption, etc. I wish my best of luck to India, one of the best country in the world.

India was once a powerful empire same with Rome,Greece, Spain, Portugal. It if now has transform into a powerful country from being under developed, then I guess it a cycle having repeated all over again. Just my opinion!

True, they were look down upon before but things are looking at the moment. But they are not the most powerful country in the world. The title goes to the US but they are weakening at the moment. China is fast rising and they are the second most important country now. If India maintain their growth, then they will be a force to reckon with. Imagine both China and India powering the axis of the world's economy. That will be great. Of course, the US will have something to say about that.
