About Indie Labels and Major Label

As we know that Indie is an abbreviation of the word Idealist. The musicians regardless of sparkling commerciality with trying to minimize the media spotlight and the fans only certain communities and not widespread. Musical style was free, not bound by certain rules. While in Major Label musicians really bonded with that name commerciality, music-music in the point to a larger market, the flow of the music is usually more "weaker" than in the indie label. Many bound rules made Major Label. The point highlights the commerciality rather than quality.
As a small example, I try to give one band the Jakarta that personnel have eaten by the sparkling Major Label. Raka Ciril, guitarist Vierra. Raka is a guitarist originally Screamo Post-Hardcore band in an indie band called Killing Me Inside. Hardcore guitarist ntah why this one suddenly turned 180 degrees hardcorenya genre into the genre a more "weak" that they call "power-pop" and finally join with Major Label in a band called Viera.
That so my question, besides the money factor, whether there are other factors that could cause a musician in starta Indie Labels, rotates the bow into Major Label?

Actually this can be very easily solved. Namely with a viable and appropriate promotion of the band and label. To my knowledge, Indie is not an abbreviation of Idealist, but rather the Independent and the individual. Within the meaning of musicians and bands have to work independently. In my town, there are a few indie bands that stream music standard. What can still be called even if they are not idealistic indie?
I have never tasted major label negative. After all, if a musician had signed the major label, meaning they must work and be part of the industry. That the consequences. Therefore, an intelligent musician should be able to bridge between ideology and the market.
For example: Andra and The Backbone is a rock band. To get market share, they throw a slow tempo hits (such as Perfect, my black, and Only You Can). But the musicality, there's no doubt that they are a rock band.
