Do you think we (Indians) got our perfect allrounder?

Dear Marinerpulak I fully agree with you. Today Usuf Pathan was in exceptionally good form. He made those big runs at the time of crisis where often the experienced bats men also tend to loose their heads. He was composed, confident and determined in his innings and he has proved his mettle by hitting the ball across the rope and to the rope several times.His century was made so quickly by him as he had several number of fours and sixes in it! The temperament he has shown on the field was simply superb, his contribution in this match has helped India to face an ungraceful defeat! Win and defeat are two sides of the coin, and it is part and parcel of the game to win some times and to lose the game some other time. So we lost today, but then it was a graceful way we lost the match, and the whole credit goes to today's Hero Usuf Pathan. He was like a brave lion fighting against 11 hunters. The most interesting thing I noted was the anxious expressions on the face of South African Bowlers and also on the face of their Captain. They were all so happy to have taken the wicket of the great Hero as if they have achieved some big success! Today no doubt Usuf Pathan has proved that he is an all rounder India is having with her and his seventh position in the order will keep every team in suspense till the time he won't loose his wicket in a match, in the forth coming World Cup! My sincere Salutations to the Great Hero who deserves to be complimented with open heart by each and every Indian, to save the team from a disgraceful defeat! Three Cheers to the hero Usuf Pathan! Dear marinerpulak, India has certainly gotten a perfect no:7 player. About branding Yusuf as an allrounder, i am still not sure. For some strange reason, Dhoni has very little confidence in Yusuf's bowling. Pathan is never even given a decent 7-8 over spell. In my opinion Yusuf is a far better bowler than Yuvi, raina & sharma because, he bowls for baroda in every game; be it a 4 day matches or 50 over matches. The same cannot be said for others. His knock today, gave Indian fans something to Cheer despite the series loss !

Hi Marine, Of course,India has got an all rounder.It is Yusuf Pathan.His performance has been great since his century against Kiwis.He got more confidence after his debut century.He is the only player who gives his best when it is most needed.He has even hit an IPL century for just 37 balls.Then the match was suddenly raised above pur surprises.I think India will be happy with an All rounder who can turn the match around.So he might be a danger for the opposition also. I agree with you we have got a very good all rounder who is a good batsman and can ball a bit particularly on Indian pitches his balling will be quiet effective. We can consider his batting caliber to that of Kapil Dev but balling not to his standard. In short we got a good all rounder which we needed very badly. That he is in form with world cup round the corner is a big boost to Indian cricket to regain the world cup after 28 years.
