Wii Fit?

So part of my New Year's "resolution" was to lose the weight I've wanted to for a few years now. So far so good - I've changed my diet drastically and so far I'm down almost 7 lbs in two weeks and now I've decided to step it up by adding exercise. I don't have time to make it to a gym between working full-time, going to school, and being a single mother. And honestly, I'm not all that comfortable working out in front of strangers even if I did have the time. So today I bought the Wii Fit Plus package (I already have the Wii system itself) and I was wondering if anyone else has used it and if so, have you seen any results? Do you enjoy it?

Good for you for taking action with wanting to get into shape. I'm also trying to do that this year. I really need to start paying attention to what I'm eating because I've been feeling really run down lately. As for the Wii Fit, I don't have it but I have been thinking about buying it, specifically the Yoga package. I have a friend that does the Wii Yoga and she really likes it.

Thanks! After a few days now of using the Wii fit I'd definitely suggest it to someone - the games make it fun and it's definitely a good work out! I have sore muscles that I didn't even know I had.

First of all, let my congratulate you on you success!! I am also trying to lose weight, and am really struggling with it. My problem is not in over-eating at all, I eat very little as a matter of fact. My problem is in having the time and energy to exercise as I should. As far as the Wii Fit, I cannot say that I have it yet or have even tried it, but I know a few people that do and they really enjoy it. I want to buy it myself, but, I am afraid that if I do, I won't have the time to use it. One lady I know uses it every morning before work and said that it is not only fun, but she has noticed results herself. She feels more energized throughout the day and has noticed her body beginning to tone up more. I have noticed a change in her myself. So, by that opinion, I would think that it would be a good program as long as you have the time to use it.

No, wii fit does not work. Its a waste of money. The sensors are not that sensitive. I would suggest the playstation move, as you actually will have to be moving and it can actually get your heart rate up;.

Unfortunately for that, I'd have to buy not only the playstation move but the whole console as well. So far I have to say that the sensors on the wii fit seem to be working just fine and although I've only tried a few of the games on there they seem rather fun.

I have the original Wii Fit (I havn't upgraded to Wii Fit Plus yet) and I'd say it works pretty well. Some of the muscle excercises actually work, but you could pretty much do them without the game haha. I don't really do the yoga parts so I can't really say anything about that. The main reason I like it is beacause It's actually fun to play, not just a boring excercise ruitine. The balance games are probably the funnest part, even though they don't really do much towards losing weight or anything...

i have used it and i dont like it much but if dose make you lose calories. The training games are really fun and the big top juggling i am really good at because,i dont see what is so hard about it.All you do is move your arms up and down and try to keep your center of balance steady. One training game i really suck at is balance bubble i just dont get that game and the obstacles that try to pop the bubble are ridiculously hard to get past. The bees i can handle. And most other obstacles i can also handle its just the rocks and keeping balance i cant do.Another training game im good at is birds eye bulls eye i think its called.Anyway its the one where your mii is dressed up like a bird and you try to land on the end target(the boat).I used to always have a hard time landing on the extra time targets, but now that i practice every weekend(because that is the only time i can practice) i get to the end target almost every time with a few seconds left to spare. Now the game im good at but really hate is Rhythm boxing.I dont like it because, every time i play it i majorly sweat and i dont like to sweat. What games do you like or not like and why or why not? What game(s) are you good at but may or may not like? Please respond back.
