Hi all. Please help me remember the title of this book. I can't remember when I read this book. If I were in elementary (8 to 15 years ago) or in highschool (4 to 8 years ago). I don't even know if the book was new back then, It was probably old since it's in the library. Anyway, the story is about a young girl. The book is diary style. Meaning, the book is written as if the girl is writing on her diary. She writes in the diary what happened to her during the day. The setting is probably in the UK, since she's english. (the words "snog", "knickers" and "loo" were used). I know there are a lot of installments of this book cause I remember reading at least two. It's a very funny book. I can remember a few "entries" in the diary. One was about how she was laughing at a girl because the girl has a hickey on her nose. One story is that she wanted to learn how to snog so she went to this person who everyone goes to to learn how to snog. This is as much as I remember about the book. Can you think of titles? I wish you could all help me. Thanks

I don't think it is. Diary of Ann Frank is a serious book isn't it? This one's light. More of a comedy

This might be too recent to be the one, but there's a book called "Angus, Thongs, and Full Frontal Snogging" by Louise Rennison. It's the first in a series of books. It's written in diary format and is set in England. It's a comedic book (I thought the first one was hilarious). Do you remember if your book had a glossary in the back explaining British English to Americans? Because that's what this book had.

Hi, When I read the information you wrote it reminded me alot of Katie Maxwell's 'The year my life went down the loo', basically because I've always wanted to read it and have been unable to. Pity that. The book is 1st in series and tells of an American girl Emily who moves from Seattle to England and writes all the positive and negative sides of living in Piddlington-on-the-weld, England. The timeframe you mentioned is about right, the book was published exactly 8 years ago and it's comedy (fabulous comedy) and it's young adult. Hope you found the book you were looking for.
