PC Games

I would really like to know a few sites where I can find some games for my pc. I have tried downloading a few from torrent sites but they never work for me. I am willing to pay for them but I don't know where to go. Does anyone out there know a good site for games? I really want mortal combat. I think I will google it and see what I can come up with. Where do most of you get your pc games and which ones do you like best and recommend? I have heard of some sites that will let you play a sample game before you have to but the whole version. That would be great. Thank you all in advance for your response.

Downloading games from torrent sites are just easy. To avoid corrupted downloads, just make sure the torrent is working before downloading by checking the torrent's comments from other users. If you read a complaint or the like, the torrent file should be a virus or corrupted. I am downloading my games in gamestorrents.com. I usually download my PC games and PSP games from it. They have lots of torrent files there. There are categories and languages categories for an easy searching. I think I already download 7 games from there and all of it worked for me.

Thank you both for your comments. I do know how to download torrents and know how to mount an iso image so I am very familiar with the how to's, I just seem to have gotten games that have some flaw in the upload or something. I always read the comments to make sure the game works and to see how other people like it but I somehow seem to still have problems. I have had problems to the point I am about willing to start buying a couple of games and I usually get all my programs from torrents. I will try this gamestorrents.com that you recommend. Maybe I just need a better torrent site.

I mostly get these PC games from torrents only. I think torrents are the best place to download these games from. There are also some sites that allow you to download PC games. But mostly these games are limited version only. So you cannot play the entire game. But I am sure you can get games from torrent sites.

Another thing that I have against these games that I do get to work. Almost all of them seem to have the controls using the keyboard. I have a USB game controller and I would like to use it. Do you feel that way too and if so do you know how to use the game controller or at least which games allow you to use the controller. It really is aggravating to use keyboard keys on a fighting game.

Probably not the type of games you want but Gamehouse dot com gives away a free game every day. Sandlot Games gives away one per week.

Thank you. That is what I want is some new game sites to try out. I usually don't have any problems downloading software or movies etc. but I seem to have unusual problems when I try to get games. I also don't know hardly any good games to get. I only remember some of the older arcade type of games and when I hear the name of a new game, I usually don't know anything about it. Maybe if I try out a few new game sites then I can read some comments etc. and find a couple of good games.

this might not be what you were looking for but still i wanted to share. i tend to enjoy mmorpg games so i download them sometimes although it takes quite some time. i've never downloaded from a torrent so i'm not sure how that goes. mine is mostly games from aeria games, you might have heard of it. but before downloading, always make sure that your computer is compatible with it. i learnt it more or less the hard way. i didn't look at what the game requirements were and downloaded it and when i wanted to log in and play, i kept getting memory error or something and project was terminated. i went on to forums for help and found out that my ram was insufficient for the game as it needed 1-2 gb and i only had 512 kb (not sure if i got those right but numbers are correct ehehe) yep hope this gives you more sites to just browse through at least.

If you are looking for games to try out before you buy them then there are two good websites to look at which you have to register with for free(and doesn't stuff your e-mail inbox with loads of junk adverts.TRY BIGFISH.COM or ALAWAR.COM they give you 1 hours free trial of any game on their site with the option to buy the key code to own the full game if you like it.the downloads can be a little slow at times but hey it's free. I usually go for the hidden object ones but there are all sorts of different ones to try and they send you e-mail suggestions of games you might like to try depending on which category you set as your favourite. IN SHORT GIVE THEM A GO !

Well i usually get the games that i want from torrents only. I have to download it in parts but most of them work in the end. Hardly few do not work but thats your tough luck. And ya, if you are willing to pay, the whole internet is there for you, you can get any game you want. For people like me who do not want to spend money for getting games, torrents is the best possible option, for getting any stuff infact, not just games.

Hi Cableman! I know some forum that provide different kind of games and where to download it but the problem it is a Filipino site but website's language is in English but most of the people there are Filipino so they comment in our language. Most of the games and applications that you will get are for free. They might give you download sites like Rapidshare, Megaupload, and Mediafire. Maybe you want to check it out? And if you need help you can buzz me and I'll try to help. www.symbianize.com

You can try ebay, amazon or walmart.com. I'm not a big person on knowing where to get games for PC, but there is also game stop.

As you said you are willing to pay for the games, why not go to some official PC game websites to find the games you like? Or you can go to bestbuy, amazon, and other websites to buy the games. I think it's very easy to buy a game online. And if you want to download some games for free, I think you can try these websites: http://thepiratebay.org/ and http://www.mininova.org/ Hope you can find your games~~~
